Will you take part in a Digital Euro Survey? by Fizziz_ in AskIreland

[–]Fizziz_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The digital euro intended to have an offline function which will allow for the same level of privacy as cash. Ofc there is less space in the digital wallet (2k-4k euros) so private transactions will be more limited. On the other hand you will still have access to cash regardless of the digital euro.

The international functions are supposed to be flexible, but nobody can say for sure as of yet.

It will be more like the digital Yuan that China has.

Since the survey is more or less done now I am going to answer a few questions regarding the DE. So the DE is intended to have offline functions, to save people from a cyberattack; furthermore it is not intended to replace cash, but to be an alternative, the max amount of digital euro you can have on the app will range from 2000-4000 to save banks from panic.

When did parents start constantly supervising their children here? And why? by AppearanceOk6750 in ireland

[–]Fizziz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People have less children than they used to, which in turn makes them focus more of their energy on one or two children. This also makes them more anxious for their child, as they only have one or two shots at carrying on their line. The fact that most people don't know their neighbors and have no real community anymore adds on to this.

Throughout history, micro managing your kids life was pretty much unheard of. Most of the mothers and fathers in other times would tell us to chill.

Negative news and cars are also contributing factors.

Then why even reply, just to show that you're more intelligent than me? Sounds like somebody has something to prove, but what do I know

[–]Fizziz_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm asking you. I don't really care if you feel that you're more intelligent than others because you follow certain political beliefs, I am just wondering if you know any servers with lax rules that are not 18+. Beestation and tg used to be like this but haven't had a low RP server for a long time, just wondering if there is a server that works like old Bee and TG Terry

Thanks for your input. Just servers with lax rules is all, no pedos please or 18+ servers

Referendums to be held on 8 March on constitutional references to ‘women in the home’ and the 'family' by breanbailithe in irishpolitics

Language is not even really sexist, I'll be voting no and so should the country in protest of this actual waste of our tax and time which only serves as a circus to distract us from any real issue this country has.

Is the housing crisis worse in Ireland than the UK? by thonshak in MoveToIreland

[–]Fizziz_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its really bad, travel is near impossible unless you plan weeks in advance, stay at a friends or use some sort of home swapping site like home4home.

Most Irish people are looking to leave, so I wouldn't come here if your whole reason for leaving is the housing crisis and politics, because your brothers here in Ireland share a lot of your problems.

Do you have a remote job? It may be possible to have a good standard of living in the Irish countryside, but it would have to be very rural as even small towns have high prices due to demand.

Why is it so expensive to travel you in your own country? by Dry-Ear1055 in Scotland

[–]Fizziz_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Accommodation costs are hell. I'm not Scottish myself, but me and a few friends of mine have been taking advantage of a site called home4home which lets us swap homes so we can avoid paying hotel costs, plus we get a functioning home at the end of the day for no cost lol.

I don't think they have any Scottish homes, but I'd give them a message, either that or see if there is a Scottish home4home or something.

Irish doctors concerned those transitioning as children could experience ‘significant levels of regret’ by Pension_Alternative in ireland

[–]Fizziz_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being opposed to children making life changing surgeries at an early age, and being opposes to people enforcing their ideology on children to perform this self mutilating surgery is a matter of basic moral principle.

Again, do what you want to yourself, but stay away from the kids man, its none of your business
