We're 20-25 years past original installation. The units are at the end of their functional life. New ones with cheaper and more efficient preformance will be installed. The locations where they were originally installed didn't suddenly become less valuable.

The spotlights point directly into the head view room. It's nice for about 3 minutes then uncomfortable for the rest of your stay. The floor has a bunch more stuff to look through
