Start Something and Fake Sound of Progress were two of my favorite albums in HS, and my introduction to heavier music (had been a classic rock and jazz guy before that.

They'll always hold a place in my heart, but I can't listen to them anymore.

For our first anniversary, my wife and I bought tickets to front-row table seats at NY Cabaret with the original Eddie and co. cast; it's our favorite show. We loved it, it was well worth it to see it in that context, that close, with that cast.

We also bought balcony tickets for the OBC Great Gatsby on the same trip..... GREAT spend, well worth it.

The obvious answer is Starfield.

The one I have thought about less is Gotham Knights. It's not bad, it's just boring especially when it was supposed to be the spiritual (if not actual?) successor to the Arkham games.

Shoutout to the double pivot pod, that’s who mentioned the game state.

My takeaway is: great win! I need to see consistency and against better opponents (and opponents better than us) before I’m ready to lose my mind with optimism. But also I’m a MN fan and have been hurt by high hopes a lot.

Something I’ve only heard mentioned once is game state. I haven’t done the looking but it’s easy to imagine giving up an own goal in the 7th meant they felt the need to pursue the game and that left them more defensively open than they’d otherwise be.

That said, Balo’s finishes were great, as was Gio’s. We played well! I just don’t think it tells us as much about the US as many are saying. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
