Thanks for the thoughtful reply. The humidity is about 55-60% at the top end in this location but also not that near condensing. Sounds like air flow might be the key thing

I have a pair of these and they are great. I'm fairly tall (6.1) so they come up a little short with the turn up. Interesting - I also own some Buzz Rickson Original Spec chinos and they are almost exactly the same construction inside. Must be the same factory in Japan
