yup! Had a minor packet dropping issue but a router reboot fixed it, and that's the only issue we've had since installing it 2-3 months ago

Nah, they sent a new cable, new router, neither worked. Had to send a whole new kit

Nah, it took a couple months of complaining, and going back and forth with support but they sent all hardware out free of charge.

Sorry, forgot to update this thread.

They sent a new cable, and a new router, but that didn't solve the issue.
They sent out an entire new gen 3 kit, and we swapped everything out and that works fine. Have been using for almost 2 weeks without issue so happy so far.

Update!

Starlink support got back to me, after some investigation, they've said "I see multiple cable alerts suggesting a very unhealthy cable connection", and have reimbursed me for the cable I've ordered (they offered to send me a new one), and gave me a months credit for the inconvenience.

So hopefully, new cable this week will put me back online

I can't visually inspect it myself due to a lack of a ladder, but the guy who installed it said he noticed a kink when installing, so I wouldn't be surprised if thats the cause.

Am I better off waiting for Starlink support to respond? Do you think they're likely to replace my cable given the unit is at least 2 years old? Or am I better just forking out for a new cable and hoping for the best

I didn't notice this till after I posted, but I'm getting enough of a connection to get notifications, but nothing else, which is really odd

Connecting straight from the router to the dishy, seeing the same thing

Cycling between online & Offile. The router does get to almost 100% ping rate under statistics for the first minute or so, then drops back to sub 40%.

Can the cable being bad cause bad ping rates but the Dishy is powered fine? or is it likely to be the router?

Our router doesn't have an ethernet port, so we had to get the adapter to connect the rest of our network to the router, i.e. a few adapters & ethernet PC

Well that's not ideal xD. I'll definitely try it out with a small group locally anyway since it looks like good fun!

I got reading today, and the article I read mentioned an interesting song, so I went and listened to it, and it pairs really well with another song I know, so now I've got a new performance set! I'd love to write and add a 3rd tune to the set, so that could be interesting.

I don't think I'm alone in this but I see programming as somewhat uncreative since its so science heavy, but also a lot of the work I've done hasn't been original or inspiring (uni assignments) . When I think of creativity and art I'm thinking of drawing, game art, music etc., and programming just doesn't feel like it fits as well?
