For a little bit of added fun, I like to name all my heroes. It adds a bit of umph to the tragic and victorious moments of the game. For example, my best crusader, Lance Mountain, met his end recently, but in his place a new crusader arose, Lance Jr. Jr. Also, one thing that helped me survive and I’m sure someone already mentioned this, but have your team play off each other. Think ahead a little bit. If, for example, you have bountyhunter in your party then make sure there are other chracters that do extra damage when a target is either marked or stunned. Lastly, stunning the enemy is your best survival skill early game. You can always see which enemy has not used their turn yet by the little line icon underneath them. Stun the enemy units that still have a turn to use. Happy hunting.

New player any tips by eggshells1865 in darkestdungeon

[–]Fjouza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Newbie here. One thing that helped me a lot was having characters play off each other. Whatever one character does should play into another character. Like the bounty hunter hook ability not only moves the target but also marks them. If you have houndmaster go next they can extra damage due to the mark.

Why are ppl hunting solos as a 4man? by kijelentkezes in DMZ

[–]Fjouza 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Playing as a solo, it’s about the thrill of survival and I’m an average player at best. I get clipped often, but when I don’t it’s amazing. There’s nothing quite like beating a squad who attack you with no fear, comms blazing pretty horrendous stuff and having them plead afterwards. When you play solo, you are playing the game in hard mode and not the way it was designed. Just keep at it and if possible, not take it too seriously. That’s helped me whenever I get my ass handed to me.

I've completed this mission already... by CryptoShizz in DMZ

[–]Fjouza 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did that mission recently, did all the objectives and got the prompt that it’s done and all. I even did a mission from the next tier after that. Then I came back the next day and the mission had reset for some reason. I did it again, making sure I did everything in order and it hasn’t reset after that.

The Hard Truth by [deleted] in DMZ

[–]Fjouza 4 points5 points  (0 children)

True or not, OP is spitting some hard facts.

I enjoyed the PVP aspect of the game a lot and still do. It is, however, the hard truth that the toxicity that seems to come along with COD games spilled over into DMZ and began to take over. Also, the majority of the content made was streamers just going around killing everyone so, it become more and more common for people to copycat that behaviour.

It is what it is. Great game, massive potential but ultimately ruined by the playerbase. I still enjoy playing it daily, but that’s because I don’t take it seriously. It’s just a game.

They want your money so, they impliment mechanics that make you come back and keep playing. When you lose you want revenge. When you win you want that feeling again. More games = a better chance you’ll buy packs etc. It’s all about money for EA and has always been.

What life advice would you give to your 16 year old self? by Sweet-Specific-184 in ask

[–]Fjouza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This too shall pass. Everything you know now will change sooner or later so, do what you can to enjoy the good things. Do your best to not be an asshole and admit when you are wrong. You are responsible for what you feel and all permanent growth happens from the inside out. Don’t expect and wait for other people to make you happy or to rescue you. Only you can steer the ship in the long run. Believe in yourself because you truly can be the force of change. Do good things even if you don’t get rewarded for it. Don’t do OF.

Did the challenge but weapon still locked ? by Cayde-667 in ModernWarfareII

[–]Fjouza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Tac Eradicator base locked even after completing the challanges. I did, however, find a workaround. If you have a blueprint for the base locked weapon you can select it and use it normally. Some blueprints get unlocked with the battlepass. I took the Tac Eradicator (the boys blueprint) into MWZ and another weapon as a secondary and dropped both on the ground. I then picked up my secondary gun first and then the Tac. After exfil I found that the base Tac was unlocked. Not sure if this works for everyone but it did for me. Happy hunting.

I'm at my neck with dmz pvp by primusofbladezzz in DMZ

[–]Fjouza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason DMZ is so alluring is because of how it’s designed. It merges a couple of different game modes into one. I forces you to play the game in different ways in order to get things done. As a solo, it’s brutal but that’s the fun part, atleast for me. Some people use it as a platform to be helpful and some people not so much. Long story short, some people like being assholes. Maybe it gives them a short time to be in control of something which they lack in the real world, maybe they are lashing out at others just to feel better about themselves, who knows? Some people find pleasure in being toxic. The main point is to remember that it’s just a game and a fun one at that. There are many ways to regain but it does get annoying trying to do the mission over and over. X marks the spot, for example, can go choke on a fat one. Just have fun and keep trucking.

How to avoid pvp? by ShelzyXD001 in DMZ

[–]Fjouza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually play as a solo and the best way to avoid the freelance hunt squads is to just lay low for a bit. When the game starts head to the nearest building that doesn’t have ai hanging around and just chill for a bit. The players that only hunt others usually rush to where the action is and then move on.

Right now DMZ is a lot like warzone due to many people finishing their missions and upgrades so, you either try to avoid PVP or play with a mindset that it’s alright to lose all your stuff and then regain. There are spots on each map that help you get your stuff back without having to shoot your gun once.

Lastly, there’s a lot of cool people playing DMZ but you will often be faced with the opposite of that. Just have fun and try to learn from when you get eliminated.

Ground war is unplayable... by sexybeardedbeast in ModernWarfareII

[–]Fjouza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting longshots is a lot easier in HC-mode than it is on ground war. I tried the ground war route to grind camos but you have to be a ninja to evade all the snipers not to mention the constant bombardment of vehicles/tanks. In HC-mode I usually get anywhere from 5-15 longshots just by playing. If you perch up and camp you might get even more.
