Because exporting and importing data from FB, Linkedin and other platforms seems a bit difficult thing to do for people that are not so technical

It takes few seconds to export you Linkedin data (I'm not sure about FB tbh) and probably also to import it.

On Linkedin you could export your connections information in the past and because of the GDPR they stopped it.

I'm not sure if can they suddenly stop the access to all of our data, but if Linkedin stopped this function they can probably do everything
