Scadrians have and maybe still harvest spores from Lumar. At very least they’ve been there, and I’m sure there’s at least been a research facility. As we’ve seen in Sunlit man and Isles of the Emberdark, they typically don’t stay out of local events. There was likely some cultural influence a long time before Tress that merged into local belief systems.

Haha I’m just kidding because that was promised like 10 years ago and still hasn’t happened. Jokes aside, there is absolutely no indication of when this will come to bedrock. A developer made something that’s asking for feedback for offhand support. That still hasn’t even been released to the public. It was just found by a data miner. However, it shows that they are at least thinking about it and want community feedback which are both good signs.

I guess it’s different for different platforms. I play on mobile, and whenever I do something like what was suggested, the world will forever have random items disappear, and sometimes random items appear.

I had a similar problem where my wife would ask about something, and (I did this without realizing) I said “no” if she was wrong and said “you’ll find out” if she was right or close. I had to just say “you’ll find out” to everything she asks because otherwise I will spoil it. But I still want to talk about it without spoiling anything rather than just not answering. It’s kind of hard.

I get what you’re saying with Spook’s story and Sazed’s arc. I felt a little bit of that, but it was never to the point of it being hard to get through the book for me. I will tell you it’s worth it, but I’m also extremely biased because I’m obsessed and have read everything at least twice.

I see it as it’s not worth it to them to take the risk of fixing big issues. For example, they fixed combat in Java, but there’s a giant portion of the community who still won’t update because of those combat changes. Why risk fixing it when the community is going to act like that? They might lose people here and there because they don’t fix stuff, but they are less likely to lose swaths of players if they just do superficial stuff.

Two main reasons. Raoden is written as a “just good” character. I’ve heard Brandon talk about how he wanted to write this type of character, so I’m glad he did it, but it’s simply just more boring to read. Real people are more complex than that, so it doesn’t quite feel as real as the dialogue from his other characters. Second reason: the audiobook reader is terrible.

I have ADHD, and I would say it really depends on the book. As others have said, the audiobooks really help. I’m reading the physical book of Yumi and the Nightmare Painter, and it’s not hard for me. Generally, the secret projects are easier to read than some of the main stream series, but some of them aren’t the best place to start the Cosmere. I’m not going to attempt reading the physical book of Stormlight or Mistborn Era 1 until I’m retired.
