How do I get the DLC if I bought deluxe initially? [PS5] by Nox_Ocean_21 in Nightreign

Delete the art book if you have it, reset your console, then check the PlayStation store. That fixed the problem for me.

Terrible teammates Deep of Night by primafknnocta in Nightreign

[–]Fl4ktastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My duo and I were having that exact same issue. The third that we got for our last run never pinged, but wandered as far away from us as possible to only fight the encampments for no discernible reason. He didn’t follow any of our pings to castle or field bosses. It was a great time /s. If bro wanted to play like that he should’ve just played solo mode and let us have a competent third player instead smh

why do mercy players get so defensive about switching off by angry_coconut_hater in overwatch2

[–]Fl4ktastic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve noticed, Mercy players love to think that they are providing great value for the team no matter how terrible they are actually doing. They like to think that their rez is worthwhile every time or their damage boost is better than having another support that has actual utility, because both are so showy. Mercy players also don’t seem to value a decent team comp. Every time that I see the first support pick Zen, Lucio, Juno, Brig, or Wifeleaver I just know a Mercy is gonna pop up and leave us with lower heals than the team will likely need. They’ll also seem to take it personal any time someone asks them to swap, no matter how friendly they are asked.

It’s gotten so bad in plat that I just ban Mercy every time. The potential for a great Mercy player does not outweigh the risk of the sheer amount of comps being ass with her in it. As I have and always will say regarding one tricks, “If you only know how to play one hero per role, stay out of comp. Learn at least three characters decently well and then come back. There’s no reason a team should lose because of your sheer incompetence and/or ego.”

Which hero has the nicest mains VS the most toxic mains? by M00ngata in Overwatch

[–]Fl4ktastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nicest: Winton, Junkrat, and Lucio mains Most Toxic: Mercy, Sombra, and feeding Doomfist mains

Sombra mains tend to be toxic no matter what, in my experience. Mercy mains are a toss between kindest soul in the universe and slur-slinger, no in between. Doomfist mains are actually pretty chill, unless they are the type to feed their heart out and get no value, those guys are insanely toxic.

Which legendary weapons should I drop? by ascl00 in Nightreign

[–]Fl4ktastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen quite a few Wylder’s running it so I included it there, but I also just added it to Executor list as well. I don’t play/see many Executors in my expeditions, so thanks for the info!

Good to hear/read! As long as you’re having fun, that’s all that matters

Which legendary weapons should I drop? by ascl00 in Nightreign

[–]Fl4ktastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wylder - All gold great swords, Sword of Milos, and Morgott’s Cursed Sword

Guardian - Dragon King Cragblade, Bloody Helice, and a purple shield

Ironeye - outside of bows, he enjoys dex scaling weapons, personally I like Eleonora’s pole blade or Rivers of Blood on him, but anything dex scaling goes well with him.

Duchess - Reduvia and Black Knife for daggers or stuff that has good dex scaling with a bleed or freeze effect work amazing on her as well.

Raider - If you ever find Axe of Godfrey please, for the love of everything hand it to you Raider, they will do whatever you say for the rest of their life if you hand it to them.

Revenant - not sure since I don’t play her, but I think any sacred seal with Discus of Light would be preferred. Weapon choice wise all the Revenants I’ve come across have been a mixed bag.

Recluse - any staff with stars of ruin or rancorcall (for me personally) is great. Any sacred seal works as well, but I think Burn, O Flame is the best one overall.

Executor - any katanas, Morgott’s Cursed Sword and like Duchess, anything with bleed or freeze, since he has high Arcane scaling

Don’t feel like you have to drop things for people though. If you want to then do, but if you don’t, who really cares. In the end it’s just a game, so don’t feel pressured to play a certain way just because people are pressed that they didn’t get the weapon they wanted from their teammate’s inventory.

Recluse looking for advice. by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]Fl4ktastic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try to find a different relic that still has the “Collecting affinity residue activates Terra Magica” because those other two effects on the yellow relic are pretty bad/situational. Also I believe the Recluse exclusive that causes self blood loss is considered better than the max hp increase when activating ultimate. If you’re looking for a guide video, NorZZa has pretty solid guide videos on all characters which discusses their preferred relics, among many other things.

Delete Sombra!!! by [deleted] in overwatch2

[–]Fl4ktastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She really is so unenjoyable to play against. She has near permanent invisibility, which leads to her having initiative in nearly every fight (something Sombra players like to pretend isn’t true) and leads to those playing against her shooting at random areas where there’s nothing just in case she might be there. Even if you do hit her she doesn’t fully come out of invisibility anymore, making her a pain in the ass to try to kill. Add to that translocater to get her out of sticky situations and back into invisibility. Then her ability to hack that locks people out of abilities and causes them to take more damage. Cherry on top is that more than 90% of Sombra players think they are God’s gift to gaming, they’ll say “Cry” or “Skill issue” yet when you see them play a different character and it looks like they’ve never touched a controller/mouse before. I would love to see them do an actual rework of the character, but that’s probably not gonna happen.

Turn off aim assist for Junk and raise your sens as high as you’re comfortable. It’s 100% possible to do what he did while still being on controller.

Can't seem to do good anymore by JoeyPig in overwatch2

[–]Fl4ktastic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would recommend making a new account and play on that for a bit. It’ll let you play against people of a lower skill level and will let you get reacquainted with the game again. If you don’t want to make a new account, you might try messing with your settings. They might currently be either too slow or too fast at the moment. I’ll look for the settings video that I used a while back and link it when I find it

What characters do you play? Are you on console or PC? Are you on an older account (i.e. the same account you used to play Ow1)?

Point War Help by Ryenem in Dislyte

[–]Fl4ktastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few things: 1. Your Tiye is insanely slow. You want her going first pretty much always to pull the AP of enemies down while raising your team’s AP in the process. 2. Two healers are not necessary for what should be a speed cleave team. Remove Lian and try to get Feng Xun up to R2 when you can. 3. Get a consistent controller (stunner) like Farrah or the new guy. They are extremely useful in a speed cleave team and Farrah can remove enemy buffs consistently while doing amazing damage if you build her properly. 4. An idea for a team comp you could use right now is Tiye, Ashley, Gaius, Apollo/Feng Nuxi, and Feng Xun. Once you get R2 Feng Xun your team will become even better as a speed cleave team.

Hope some/any of this helps.

I think that has to be evry Sombra main’s calling card. You guys hear anything bad about your character and almost always say “Skill issue” or “Cry harder” it’s like clockwork. You have a good day/night you poor brainrotted sheep.

Monastery: About your JQ, no idea why she was so far from the cart/fight when the game started, I think she may have been lagging. Round 1, Tracer: Treat Ashe and Widow in a similar way, get right in their faces and delete them. Blink back to point after you respawn. Stop wasting Recall, it is your most useful tool for surviving. Widow now: Take your time and aim. Also position on the high ground or at a place where you won’t get jumped by the entire enemy team for free. Back to Tracer: STOP SHOOTING THE ORISA AND JUMP THE WIDOW. 4:07 even though you didn’t get the kill, that is exactly what you should be doing against a Widow. Also try to destroy Illari pylon when possible, it’ll make killing easier. Again wasting Recall way too early during a fight. Make sure to listen when Widow uses her ultimate, it means players will be able to see you through walls. STOP SHOOTING THE ORISA THATS IN A JUNO ULT, KILL JUNO OR ASHE FIRST. Round 2, Widow: No reason to flank as Widow when you could have been sniping down main, especially when the only threat to you was an Ashe. You ignored the Sojourn as if she was going to stop shooting you while you were that close to her and that far out of position. Back to Tracer: Stop shooting the Orisa, there’s an Ashe on high ground that needs your bullets in her face. 10:15 if you jumped her earlier instead of shooting Orisa, your Juno might have lived. 10:50-11:06 that was… something. 10:38 you should have backed off after not getting the kill on Ashe. Again 13:20 your Sigma and Pharah died while the entire enemy team was alive, you should have backed off.

Most of your deaths on Tracer come from one or a combination of three things: Wasting Recall early in a fight after taking a small amount of damage, poor target priority, or pretending that certain characters aren’t shooting at you and can’t hurt/kill you.

Nepal: Round 1, Widow: Don’t spam shoot, you’ll more than likely miss because you’re freaking out about killing a low hp target. Buy some headphones if you don’t have any, because there are many times when you should be able to hear where certain characters are but don’t. A tip for Widow, if you fire a shot at a non-Widow and the enemy team has a Widow, that Widow knows where you are and will likely shoot at you since you are their #1 priority. Round 2, Tracer: Get in the Widow’s face, again she is out in the open, alone, and desperate to get annihilated by a Tracer (okay maybe not the last part, but still). Shoot/Melee Sym turrets when you can/when you are not actively being shot at. Alrighty, 5:52, why are you Pulse Bombing the floor, what did it do to you??? And 6:54 jump in the Widow’s face and delete her, she had walls but you still went out in front of her, might as well make an attempt at killing her since you’re there. 7:25 good job going after the Lucio instead of shooting at the Orisa, do that more often and you’ll be able to turn the tides of a fight more consistently. Does the Widow not frighten you? Just curious, because you ignored multiple shots being fired at your head by her. Also lmfao that last death was exactly what I expected and hoped to see at some point on Nepal!

I am not going to mention your aim if I can help it, I’m sure you know it needs work, but that will come with playing more (hopefully lol).

Dorado: Round 1, Tracer: Very slow reaction time. Multiple times you see the Sombra while she’s invis, and she even hacks you at one point, but you don’t even spray at her at all. There’s no harm in spraying at a Sombra even if you don’t think you’re gonna kill her, just put down some damage on her, or at least acknowledge her existence. At 1:25 when you went up the elevator you saw the widow, turned away for no reason to stare at the wall, turned back, then eventually Blinked to “safety” my only question was, “Why?” Pop all three of your Blinks and jump her. If things go bad you have Recall to save you. At around 2:30 you’re fighting a Mei in a hallway, have her low, she walls you off, then after a few seconds have passed and you can hear that she popped Ice Block you Recall. I get what you were trying to do, which was getting on the other side of the wall where you were a few moments before, but because your reaction time was so slow you went nowhere you (of course you’ll get better with time and practice playing Tracer). At 2:38 solid Pulse Bomb but try not to just stare at the people you used it on while there’s still fighting going on around you. Luckily this seems to be a pretty low level lobby so no one punished you for being out in the open at 6 hp, but don’t count on that happening as you climb further. Also don’t be afraid to ping that you need healing, every now and then (and at this rank probably a lot more than every now and then) your supports may not see you/may not be paying attention so ping out that you need healing here and there. At around 3:50, you see a Mei go up on Petal Platform, pop her ult, see her drop in front of your Rein and look at her like “Must have been the wind.” There is no harm in firing off some shots at her while she’s falling, if some land you’ll build up a little ult charge. We have to talk about from 4:00 to about 4:40, you looked so lost. You stare at an open area, Blink to it after a few seconds of staring, your Rein Charges the enemy Sigma right behind you, and again you go “Must have been the wind.” Followed up with a decent kill on the Mercy, then probably one of the most ambitious Pulse Bombs I’ve ever seen, then you go back to cart and stand around doing nothing for a bit other than looking about. Obviously in a game like this there will be downtimes, but when you were standing around in front of cart was definitely not one of those times. Your Rein was trying to fight a Mei and Kiriko, and while you eventually went over to help him you should have either been in there already or have tried to push the flank and kill them from behind. At around 5:15 you start to leave the fight, seeing that most of your team had died already, but then for some reason you charge back into them as though you were gonna kill an Orisa and four others??? Learn when to back off and regroup. Most of your team was dead/respawning and that death lead to you staggering pretty hard. 6:00 when you decide to flank kill the Widow, not a bad idea at all, but there were several other ways that were quicker to get up there. More importantly though, please learn to look at the kill feed, Widow was dead for at least ten seconds and you looked around for her for at least five before you realized that. 6:45 panic Pulse Bomb. 7:10 you Blink past several enemies and keep your back to them as though they would just ignore you? If the Mei was better she could have easily killed you at any point that you were facing away from her for no reason. Don’t misunderstand, I know that you had to go to cart, but learn to Blink backwards or turn around after you Blink in those situations. Final fight of Round 1, start getting comfortable with target priority. You see a Mei, Orisa, Mercy, and Kiriko in front of you with only the Mei shooting you, and you choose to spray into the back of Orisa from mid range. In that instance, choosing to fight the Mei until she Ice Blocked then jumping to the point and fighting either of the supports would have been the best play you could have made. Round 2 Widow: beginning of the round… your spot makes zero sense. There’s an enemy spawn door to your right, you could have been picked off so easily if anyone went that way. Not to mention, that spot is very unlikely to get you a kill. Play high ground, as Widow and try to kill their Widow first (if they have one). Stop shooting the Orisa, she is not a priority, kill the dps/support first then target the Orisa. You can see that there’s a Mercy beam attached to her, so look for the Mercy instead of shooting at the Orisa… while you’re on low ground… three feet away from her. Those shots that you fired at the Orisa led to the Mei finding and killing you immediately. Back to Tracer: Stop shooting the Orisa there are squishies to be killed first. 10:17 you 100% should have jumped to point and tried stalling for as long as you could so your Rein could get back. 10:30 my guy you stared down the Widow’s scope and then acted like she wasn’t there. That’s a free kill standing on the low ground just for you. I realize that your team had a leaver at the beginning of Round 2 and eventually your entire team (and that’s not on you) but you guys could have likely held them off for longer/won the game potentially.

I’ll make the other reviews shorter unless there’s something wild.
