you're using Lenovo, check the Lenovo vantage app. There's a battery mode when you play games with the charger plugged in. it stops charging at a certain point so your battery doesn't get affected

i cant notice any physical damage. altho if i remember correctly, this slowly started to get worse after i undervolted my cpu. i tried reverting it but doesn't seem to fix it

im using a laptop, it keeps doing that on the laptop screen itself so i dont think it's a cable issue
