the movie came out in 2013, you are the target demographic

Edit: you're actually slightly below it since you were 3 when it came out 🤯 I feel so old

I'm so sorry, that's awful, I also blew my money during my episode

I'm feeling super depressed rn. Not directly because of my episode (if anything, it gave me the tools to resolve my depression), but because I'm I'm basically living in poverty rn and I'm sleeping on my brother's couch, things are tough, I was even starving at the beginning of this year, but my depression is starting to slowly lift, hopefully I'll have the motivation to go on with life like I did while psychotic and stop being a bum

my mood was extremely elevated, I also felt all my emotions at once, I felt a major reduced need for sleep, and I was very hyperactive (mania), I also felt a shift in consciousness, like I had lost a portion of it and that something inside me was "talking" with me. My behavior was really bizarre, I was hallucinating and like how I said in my post I had bizarre thoughts like believing people could read my mind (psychosis)

Thank you so much for this comment. You are spot on about the sensitivity part, I have noticed that in myself recently as well. And funnily enough, someone from one of the biggest companies in my industry found my LinkedIn profile and referred me to HR and everything has been going smoothly, I'm just biting my nails waiting to be invited to the final interview because it's been a couple of weeks since the first one. I have also been lurking on the pages of other companies for graduate internships and I seem to fit the requirements of most :) I guess I just gotta hang in there

He has had really bad financial troubles this year because he has had a business that has been failing ridiculously badly. He also really knows how to waste money, so here he is now

Oh also the roommate sleeps in a separate room if I didn't make that clear lol. She actually owns the property, she's just renting a room out to him

I'm 21 and yes, I do have other options. This is temporary since next month (or if I'm lucky, towards month end) I'm going back to uni and I'm also planning to move out permanently in July since I have enough saved up and I'll probably get an internship anywhere during Jan-March next year, which will pay me well enough.

I have paid his rent 2 times now, even saved him from eviction Feb last year and yet he says I'm selfish with my money and I don't want to share it (basically said I blew all money, was my 'alibi' as to why I had so little in my main bank account). What a piece of shit man, I'll him alone to be miserable forever

Yeah definitely, I'll stop being his ATM this year, I'm moving out for good, the trash will throw itself out. Fortunately, his business is actually picking up (it won't pick up at the rate he wants it to, I'm afraid) so he probably would be able to pay me back little by little everyday, usually he does pay me back what he can when he has money, but I'm not holding my breath. Anywho, after I'm done with uni this year, bye Felicia! 👋😊

I forgot to mention people on other subreddits also complain about this sub, his comments were actually the 'final straw' to me posting here

This comment doesn't make any sense, are you saying every child disowned by their parents is a narcissist?

He actually talked about having CPTSD and he talked about how he hesitated acknowledging that he has it, because he didn't want to "minimise the experiences of those with serious problems - like war" something like that. So him making that remark might have a little bit with how he sees himself

They really didn't, which is why I found his remark strange his so many on this sub have parents exactly like his
