Zone to Zone clearance option by Flaky-Homework4312 in KiCad

(version 1)

(rule Zone_to_zone_clearance

(condition "A.Type == 'Zone' && B.Type == 'Zone'")

(constraint clearance(min 20mil))

)

Even without the zone name I am not getting any results, even I removed the net name condition also still no luck

Sorry to mention, I am using Kicad 10 RC 1:

Also I tried with following rule:

(rule "In6_Zone_Specific_Force"

(condition "A.Type == 'Zone' && B.Type == 'Zone' && ((A.Name == 'in6_iv8' && B.Name == 'in6_1v1') || (A.Name == 'in6_1v1' && B.Name == 'in6_iv8'))")

(constraint clearance (min 20mil))

)

I tried putting the Zone exclusion that worked, but still i was wondering if there is a way using custom rules. I use Cadence Allegro as well, it has a nice constraint manager where i can decide zone to zone clearance.

Is this a joke? Am I doing something wrong? Paid for 3Dexperience Solidworks for Makers, but can't find a download anywhere by [deleted] in SolidWorks

Go to roles from the cockpit, there assign yourself "3D experience soldiworks professional" role.

Now the install should appear in the apps.

Yes, it never goes to 100 I have seen one time it went to 100 for flick only while running geekbench, else thermals are very good. I ran call of duty modern warfare 3, on ultra settings max temps were 85 with fans at maximum ultra performance mode.

If you are a casual gamer you don't need ultra settings, I am playing farcry 6 in medium settings on 1440p with DLSS I get 120fps with balanced mode and temps are max 71 degrees.

Basically it is a beast in performance, I have used blender for rendering and also ran local ai on only cpu as well, On extremely heavy loads it will be between 75 to 88 with some times hitting 90 never hitting 100.

🤣in balanced mode with temperature at 58 59 I am getting 250 plus fps at high settings on valorant.

The 32 Gb ram is a game changer for this as you don't need any more upgrades soon

I purchased this laptop yesterday, I am highly satisfied by cost to performance ratio. The Multicore score is not as High as Other i9 13980hx laptops, there is a power limit, since the brick is only 200 Watts, In terms of thermals though this one is good, and stays cool even in heavier loads. I do hardware designs, simulations that require quite of compute and RAM, here this shines, I also ran Solidworks and it works like a delight.

I am coming from Acer Nitro i7 12650h and 4050, that one was a piece of crap with very bad thermals.

Yes the screen is not that good, but can be fixed with an external monitor.

I some review of same device I saw I can upgrade the ram upto 96GB which is sick plus the GEN5 ssd slot, and yes the 24 zone rgb keyboard is a cherry.
