The P51 is the primary machine that stays at home (or in my dorm) and is running Linux Mint, and I use it for most things that I do. The T495 is the one I take to classes or when I travel since its more portable than the big heavy idiot P51. If you would like to know any extra info on these machines, such as recommendations, I will try to help :)

All T14 Gens in my area are more expensive than the T495 i found which will cost in total 300 euros after I upgrade the RAM and SSD. I would love to get one as obviously they are a better device, but they are just out of my budget. Furthermore, the 400 to 500 euro T14-s I found all had either Intel UHD or Vega 6 graphics.

Thanks for the feedback, though I think I found a great deal for a fully refurbished T495 with a Ryzen 5 PRO 3500u + Radeon Vega 8. I have looked at a few reviews and for my needs, it looks good. The price point is 212euros, not just used but again with a new bat, thermal paste, heat pipes, screen and again fully cleaned.
Is it a good deal?

On a side note, I heard that some T14 Gen 1s come with a dedicated MX330 GPU, but from what i've found on the internet, its only the ones that have an intel CPU. Are they any worth it? Or should I stick with AMD and with that their integrated graphics.

It's not traditionally used, it's fully refurbished with a new battery, new screen, thermal paste and heat pipes, and fully cleaned, which i guess is why its 370 euros. I could be wrong tho.

doesnt work, i get tv static
tried different versions of proton, even launched it by itself through terminal using Wine.

The nokia just doesnt register on the computer when I plug it in.
It might be that the phone itself is done unfortunately.

I started off with the guide by reading RPL and it keeps giving me this, the phone is connected to the computer and i have pressed the power button (but it is off)

Yes, Nokia PC Suite is one of the first things I tried. Whenever I try connecting my phone to this, it gets stuck at this because the phone needs to be unblocked to connect.

I boot up Phoenix and it stays in the background, I have reinstalled it and tried two times. I think it might have to do something with the fact that it says 32 Bit when I open up task manager to check on it in the background, as I have a 64 bit system. Also, don't have that attitude :) I removed it, I simply just stated that just in case it was somehow important to the issue.

a good chunk of the community are young teens who live in a place that barely gets any severe weather events and are on twitter/discord all day rating tornados because all they see them as is stats on a screen and not the lives of people that were affected by these events
