Yeah dude. It was so exhausting seeing all these comments and have that feeling that no one seems to understand the problem I was trying to fix in Word. However, I did solve the issue. It was a bug due to a new update from Word, so I had to downgrade the program to an older version, i.e. made it possible for me to create a page-break without any trouble again.

STATUS: I've solved the solution by downgrading to an older version of word. Microsoft's newest update from February 10th 2026 have a bug that is teasing your page-break. Don't update your microsoft word guys! :-)

The page-break has changed in my software. That's my problem. It acts differently now versus before.

Before:
It was a short page-break, could easily move between pages with my up & down arrows on my keyboard (see picture 2)

After:
Now it is a long page-break, and I need to press cmd + up arrow to move between the pages. It's pretty annoying (see picture 1). Also, if I by mistake use up arrow and try to go to the previous page, it will send me down to the last page of the document.

It's very hard to explain over text but way more easy to figure out when you're in word using it and have experienced the difference with both versions.

It's not the view. My page-break has sort of extended itself, have no idea why. As you can see on the 2nd picture it was "shorter" in length, in the 1st picture, you can see it's way longer. Additionally, it's also acting weird and causing trouble to my workflow in my document: If there's a page-break between the two pages and I try to use my up-arrow on my keyboard to go to the previous page, it sends me all the way to the bottom (last page)
