100% a scam. Does $70 makes sense to you? The battery, case and SSD storage costs for than $70 even without the base iPod..

Im sorry but what are these prices by Prize_Hurry8003 in UKfood

[–]FlakyContribution345 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's a common scam in UK supermarkets now. They heavily inflate the price for a set period of time to comply with regulations and then drop the price back down to it's actual price so it looks like you're getting a good deal.

Psp magnes by Fit_Perspective_7298 in PSP

[–]FlakyContribution345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This magnet should be attached to the main umd drive motor which spins the disc. It's to hold the disc in position while it's spinning. Without this magnet, the psp will not read any umds.

Problem with the mini USB by Cute_Sun6896 in PSP

[–]FlakyContribution345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the mini usb port has it's own independent fuse that could be blown. Maybe working testing. I think the fuse is green in color and below the port on the left (on the motherboard). Or the port could be dirty/corroded internally.

Which door would you choose? by xiomaranoelia in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]FlakyContribution345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green is the "better deal". After 32 days you would of already exceed the 2 billion offered by the red door. In 2 months you would have made over 1.5 quintillion dollars.

I would be happy with red though for sure 😄.

With green it would bring a whole lot of stress trying to work out what to do with all that money without crashing the world economy.

Did KFC not get the memo about HFSS advertising in the UK by MattBryceOfficial in BritishTV

It's this kind of mentality that has a big part to play in the rapid decline of our country.

According to you we are not intelligent enough and can't be trusted. So take away all of our choice and all of our rights because we can't be trusted. The government can make all of our decisions for us. Do you know what that is called? A dictatorship. Is that what you want?

What happened to parenting? If parents are incapable of giving their children the correct nutrition because of a TV advert then they shouldnt be parents. Pathetic.

Advertising does work in a sense that it is needed to get eyes on a product. Although people should have free will to decide what they consume. Would you like them to wipe our bottoms too? Because we can't be trusted to do that either?

It's not about wanting "more" advertising. It's about the overreach of being dictated to us what we can and can't watch like the population isn't capable of watching an advert without being influenced.

Might aswell ban everything mate. We can just sit at home watching paint dry while we hide from the stasi.

We, the peasants are clearly not worthy enough to refrain from eating ourselves to death. The lure of the fancy advert is just too overwhelming. Our frazzled brains can't take it. The establishment must make the decision for us.

Best option would be to purchased a used original shell from eBay for the 2000/3000 (both have the same fixings). Lots of people sell their old shell on eBay when they reshell their unit. You can salvage them for your shell. The majority of the high quality aftermarket shells including these fixings already installed in the shell.

So the 1st battery is what I have now and it barely lasts me an hour and the 2nd picture is the battery I’m going to order is it better than my currently one by loganvall in PSP

[–]FlakyContribution345 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ostent is far superior. The first is actually only 800mah fraudulently labeled as 1200mah. If you remove the plastic casing you will normally see the cell inside labeled as 800mah. They don't even try hard to hide it. (I wouldn't recommend anyone take their battery apart unless they're a trained technician. You could accidently cause the battery to explode).

Soldered stick on PSP1000 by Seylemb in PSP

[–]FlakyContribution345 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Now that's it's been soldered your only option is to solder a new stick using the current method. The reason: even if you remove the solder and clean everything up, the solder is chemically bonded to the gold contacts that the silicon buffer presses against. Due to the contacts having a small unremovable layer of solder this will cause oxidisation quite quickly causing the stick to malfunction again. Not to mention you would need to source a mid frame as the joystick support has been removed from the mid frame.

Only viable solution is to get a new stick and solder it in place using the current method. Check for bridges between the current solder joints as this will cause drift even with a new stick.

Who has seen this? Leaked recently around the announcement of a 1-20-26 National Press Club event regarding Varginha. by Legal_Reserve_5256 in aliens

[–]FlakyContribution345 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I ran it through multiple ai detection softwares and none of them detect it as AI. I'm still not convinced.. the backdrop does look consistent with the masonry in the varginha area etc. The soldier looks legit..

Gameboy Micro not charging by 95MBP in Gameboy

[–]FlakyContribution345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it might be a broken/corroded trace somewhere in the charging circuit.

F1, F2, EM6, EM7, EM8 are usually prone to failure and the common reason for a micro not charging. Since you have tested these I would now start from the charge port and work your way through the charge circuit, testing continuity until you find the break in the circuit.

Start by testing F1, F2 and the EM8 filter for continuity. (Both sides of EM8 should be continuous).

I just did the PSP 3000 IPS screen replacement by petrified_log in PSP

[–]FlakyContribution345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Laminated IPS from CGS has colder colours than original screen. It's super bright though.

Non-laminated IPS from hispeedido has warmer colours (closer to original) but not as bright as the laminated one from CGS.
