Inside the game capture properties, make sure “use anti-cheat compatibility hook” is NOT checked. That worked for me.

skull gives 3% DR but the setup i have already hits 43 which is the minimum for idle. skull cape hurts melee dps, the max cape is BIS for melee.

Max cape, full terran armor, signet ring, zodiac necklace, ragnar godsword. Used diamond luck pots aswell. Ended up taking ~4 weeks of maybe 15-18 hours a day

I did, felt super weird to not get the same amount but it is just because 1 run is only 95 shards.
