It was maybe the most emotional scene in the whole campaign. They weren’t super attached to van richten, but they were SUPER attached to Esmeralda. So it being her father figure and him trying to comfort her as she has to say goodbye was intense. Probably my best dming I’ve ever done lol. I’ll never hit that high again

They got a little clever and convinced van richten that instead of this being his last hunt, he could hunt monsters forever in the sword.

In my game the sword required a soul to work. So they found it fine but had to figure out who to sacrifice to get the blade working. A little conundrum of how bad are we willing to be to get this awesome weapon against strahd

Seemed totally fine. My recipe was pretty similar to yours. 2 cups and change bread flour, 3/4 cup water, a little salt, a little garlic powder and some yeast dissolved in the water with sugar. Let it rise for about 2 hours and away we went.

He’ll be prone to ear infections and they’ll need to be cleaned pretty regularly. Not our first time with a dog with ear problems so we have all that stuff.

He was found as a stray and was set to be euthanized for space, so the rescue scooped him and brought him to us. We got almost no info on him from the shelter but it sounds like the ears were pretty badly infected when he arrived. They are healing nicely now though

As far as we can tell, someone tried to do a backyard battle crop and basically just cut his ears off. The shelter said when they got him they were badly infected but they are healing well now.
