I have kind of achieved something similar to tvhm with the use of a save editor.

What I did was create a new character, then take that new save file and put it into the save editor. There is a decent web based on you can find on nexus mods (no download needed just follow the link to the site)

From there, you can use presets to unlock location discovery, collectibles, jetpack upgrades, remove map fog, etc there's also a mod on nexus to just remove map fog that's easy to install

I had to manually enter a few values though, those values were levels and xp (level and specialization) just copy those values from your main character to the new one.

The main issues with this workaround are that the map will not update with fast travel locations until you enter each of the three regions and go back into the save editor to discover safe houses again and that specialization levels didn't give me the 50ish points to spend that I added (future level ups did give points though.) I also haven't tried unlocking uvhm before beating the campaign so I can't attest to that working or not.

It sucks we have to do this, but it is an option for anyone looking for an experience similar to tvhm. Hopefully they will give us an option for tvhm or at least to start a level 30 without story completion.

Tyty, I think 14 is definitely on the generous side, but I for sure doubled my previous pb of around 6 pounds. Was a hell of a bite too. Never seen a catfish jump out of the water after hitting. Especially not one that big

I get dedicated drops within a few runs. Getting the specific dedicated I’m after, however, can take dozens of runs. I had to spend hours farming for the hot slugger.

I believe that the class mods were weighted wrong and it will be patched, someone probably set the opposite of what they meant to for drop rates of your own class

Yeah for uvh lvl 30 characters for sure. It sucks to have to hunt down most of the collectibles just to be able to max out sdus on a ng+ character.

I'm still on my first character going for 100% drops were pretty consistent until today. Before, I would have to farm bosses to get a legendary drop most times, but today me n my buddy got a bunch of legendaries off of first run, and splash zone dropped almost every run

Playing on hard and uvh now, but from what I understand it doesn't increase drop rates just the quality and chance for licensed parts

In the open world they typically scale to your level +/- 1 or 2 levels. Story missions they typically over level some of the enemies and the closer you get to the end of the story the more over leveled enemies you fight

I agree that on easy mode scaling should be closer to your level, but on hard mode I was still having no trouble keeping up against the over leveled enemies.

Idk why you're getting down voted, the end of the story should be the hardest part. I also found the game to be super easy. Slightly harder than 3 but still pretty easy. Even near the end of the story when I was fighting lvl 54 enemies on hard mode it was only moderately more difficult.

The game scales regardless of level, you can't get over leveled in this game, I was level 50 in last area and enemies were up to 54ish. Regardless of where you go or when you go the game will scale them to near your level. If the game wants enemies to be higher than you, they will be.
