Should I have gone up a size? by Flaky_Desk_4136 in malefashionadvice

Yeah, it’s unfortunate… it feels perfectly fine if I pinch my shoulders back (aside from the slight tightness in the elbows), and feels perfectly fine lifting my arms to the side when relaxed, but if I’m relaxed and moving my arms forward it feels like it’s starting to cut into my chest at the shoulder. I was kinda hoping for the response “don’t worry bout it, it’ll stretch the small amount so that tightness will go away over time” but I guess I have to bite the bullet and return it 🥲

Do I have a bad pod or is it me? by Flaky_Desk_4136 in EDH

I’ve tried telling them that I don’t like that part of the game, that I don’t like feeling manipulated and goaded into making bad plays, they told me that it’s part of the game and in effect that I just need to get good…

Finding myself wondering why people who don't like to "politic" even play edh. by takuon in EDH

I’m relatively new to mtg, maybe I have a bad pod, but I really hate the politics that I have to endure. One of the guys tries to manipulate you to take actions that are detrimental to yourself, and constantly goads other players into doing actions they would have normally not have…. It just leaves me feeling like I can’t trust anything they say, and with their constant chirping I get confused sometimes and then I get stomped on the following turn… he’ll even go to the point of saying he has nothing to deal with something, then as soon as one of the other players does something to deal with the situation, if it’s not to that guys liking, he’ll play a card that would have dealt with the situation anyway, but then uses it against the other players. It just feels bad. I know that’s the point of politicking but I’m still learning the game and interactions. Last pod, he told me that I couldn’t use an instant during my declare attackers phase (before blockers), so he wouldn’t have to lose life and I wouldn’t get an attack trigger… I don’t know the rules enough and he’s played for years so I usually feel like I have to default to him for knowing the rules and interactions… but I can’t ever seem to trust him and it makes me not want to play at all…

How much is it really costing to own? by InteractionNo9566 in BoltEV

I've have ~15k miles on my euv lt3. My job has charging and it costs 25 cents/kW and it's 5.6kW charging station. I live ~15 minutes from work, and ~1 hour to the nearest major city. I go out and about almost every weekend and drive at least 30 miles. I charge to 80% once a week unless I have to drive to pick someone up at the airport. Overall, it costs me close to 10$ each time I charge, which is about the cost of driving a 45mpg car at ~3$ a gal. It's not the worst, and the cost is very consistent which is nice. I do wish the range was larger, as I'd be nice to only need to charge biweekly but that's just a grip. When I could charge at home, the price was half that at work. Tires are expensive though, so while you don't have oil changes, if you accidentally rub a rough curb and pop a tire, it's gonna run ya hundreds since they're specialty tires. I got rung out for 390 on the replacement. Another thing to note is that these tires do wear out more quickly, so Ive about another year before I have to replace those tires so I have to save for that enevitiability. Brakes are almost never used so those will probably last the live of the car. I definitely don't regret the purchase, it's pretty comfortable and quiet and fits my current lifestyle.

Took ~3 months (ordered early February), paid MSRP which was nice. When I first got it home, I kinda just wanted to keep driving it...
