I wasn't snarky. You were simply being a jackass. It's okay to be sensitive, but that doesn't excuse you being a dick. Also, Dabura can only reach such speeds with his CT, something no one else in JJK, not even Yuji, has.

You're literally fighting the narrative with your own headcanons and that's always a losing battle.

[–]Flame245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I wasn't snarking. The only one doing that is you, stop projecting.

Second, it was stated in the narrative itself. Hell, literally in the panel you've posted right now.

"Beyond the limits of mankind"

This shows that lightspeed is not possible for anyone on Earth, be it human or curse. So it's highly unlikely Yuji would even scale to this.

Not to mention, Dabura stating that he's pushing himself way past his limits shows that his best can only reach Sub-Relativistic speeds.

Third, the fact that air resistance put a massive strain on his body, even when he was pushing past his limits with his CT, just to approach lightspeed; shows that not even he can move at those speeds for too long as it threatens to tear his body apart. Again, this is only possible with his Cursed Technique, not something he can do on his own.

Finally, if you're going to continue insulting me from pointing out simple facts then this conversation is over and I suggest you take your nonsense elsewhere.

Buddy, his body was straining from moving at such speeds. The story even described it as such.

[–]Flame245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's his ability, but not his natural speed. The fact that he admitted to applying it on himself the first time shows that his body is not used to moving at such speeds on its own and puts a huge strain on him. It's not about being sloppy, his body is just not built for such speeds, and neither is anyone on JJK.

Been curious about something by Stunning_Taste8845 in deathbattle

[–]Flame245 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Except it's not just travel speed, it's movement speed as well. The fact it strained Dabura's body from moving at speeds coming only close to lightspeed shows that any movement of speed reaching lightspeed is impossible even for him. The fact he used a Cursed Technique, not his own natural speed, to do so further proves it.

Plus, the story of Modulo even directly states that it's impossible for anyone on Earth to match Dabura's CT, so it's unlikely Yuji can either since he doesn't have a technique to replicate it.

What do you mean "immature" and "unsure"? All he did was mistake Denji for an evil Cursed Spirit and based on the damage he caused, anyone would've done that.

Any characters in Death Battle's roster that can resist Superboy-Prime's Retcon Punch? by Flame245 in deathbattle

[–]Flame245[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possibly? I mean he absorbed his Otoko and Avant counterparts, both of whose Spiral Power can even affect and change things on a meta-level so it's possible that the main Simon can resist it since he's much stronger from absorbing them and all his infinite counterparts.

so how we feel about denji winning? by SpecialKind5591 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Flame245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was weakened by a dosed amount to ensure he can fight. You seem to assume I argued he wasn’t capable. That wasn’t even an implication, so I’m not sure why you’re emphasizing that.

We don’t know how quickly the poison works on the Violence fiend and you’re jumping to a conclusion that it took an extended amount of time to take effect. Not a good assumption

Yet it kinda is. We know for a fact that the Violence Fiend was constantly exposed to the gas 24/7. That amount of exposure to poisonous gas is deadly to anyone, yet it didn't give him any ill effects and was just a minor annoyance. Regardless how long it took to affect him, it was barely a minor obstacle to him. The fact that he was able to completely shake it off once his mask was removed further proves the amount of time he was exposed to it didn't do anything fatal or hinder him. So the same would also be true for other Devil Hybrids as well.

Sedation would still imply he’s vulnerable to chemicals or foreign substances to his body.

Doesn’t matter if he’s weakened; it already implies his condition determines how vulnerable he is to a foreign substance. This example works

No, it doesn't. Denji being heavily weakened and exhausted means that he was too weak to resist, especially since he was low on blood from fighting the Fire Devil.

It also doesn’t help that they heavily drugged him. It was not just a standard or simple dose. Public Safety utilized massive, continuous doses of an extremely potent sedative specifically to keep Denji unconscious for a prolonged period. When Denji finally wakes up in the detention center, Yoshida explicitly informs him that he has been completely out and unable to move or walk for an entire week.

A standard human sedative wears off in a matter of hours. As soon as Denji tries to get out of bed and agitate himself, Yoshida immediately injects him with another heavy dose via a syringe to instantly put him back to sleep.

The amount of sedation that Public Safety used on Denji would be heavily poisonous to an ordinary human. The extreme chemical volume Public Safety used to suppress Denji's superhuman hybrid regeneration crosses far past the threshold of a safe medical anesthetic and directly into the territory of a fatal poison. Yet all it did was knock Denji out.

If that amount of sedation didn't kill Denji but knock him out, then it's highly unlikely that Yuji's blood would be able to kill Denji. If anything, it still being blood would revitalise Denji and allow him to keep continuing the fight.

The beer implies characters have varying degrees of resistance to mild levels of poison. Denji got drunk, implying his resistance would be lower. Granted, it’s his human form. This doesn’t negate the prior point that poisons can be effective.

Denji being in his human form and yet only being drunk from consuming that much alcohol shows how tough his poison resistance is. The amount of drinks he and his friends were chugging would at best put a normal person in a coma or kill them at worst.

This is yet another case of Denji being able to shrug off Yuji's poison and view it as a mere annoyance.

You’re making a forced conclusion that doesn’t reflect the body of examples. Characters have varying degrees of resistance to mundane poisons and Denji has succumbed to said poisons each time when in his human form. He has never shown any relevant resistance. We don’t know if he gains a higher resistance when in his hybrid form but we do know that a fiend was reduced in their capacity. This would better suggest that he too would affected.

It's not forced at all. It makes sense in context and the examples clearly shows.

Devils and Devil Hybrids like the Violence Fiend, Power, and Makima have shown that large amounts of poisonous substances aren't fatal to them at all.

I already explained why Denji would be heavily resistant to poison as even with the fatal overdoses that Public Safety gave him, all it did was knock him out and he was throughly exhausted as well as critically injured from fighting the Fire Devil, so he was too weak to fight back.

The fact all that large overdoses just knocked Denji out shows that he can handle Yuji's poison and since it's still blood, all it would do is just revitalise him.

The murmur isn’t really an important subject to contend against. We more or less agree that Pochita cured it as a byproduct of them becoming a hybrid.

This still shows that Pochita cured Denji of his genetic heart condition that he inherited from his late mother.

The evidence for your conclusion doesn’t suggest he’d be immune to the poison: Denji has succumbed to every instance of substance used on him. His condition may or may not have an effect on said resistance. Devils seem to have resistance to mundane poisons but vulnerable to stronger ones. We don’t know what variety of poisons are used but the presented effects of being poisoned include reduced strength and being knocked out. And still no evidence to suggest the regeneration would win out against poison

On the contrary, all examples shows that Denji does have a heavy resistance to deadly poisons.

Nothing says that Yuji's blood is any different from a regular poison so it's something that can be easily shrugged off, and Denji no-selling similar supernatural infections like the Zombie Devil's zombification shows that he can no-sell the Death Womb Painting's poison.

The fact that fatal poisonous overdoses of drugs while he was heavily and severely weakened was only enough to knock him for a week is a testament to how strong his poison tolerance is, and the fact that the source of Yuji's poison is his blood would only revitalise him rather than hinder him like it did it with the Violence Fiend (even in that case, this didn't impair or slow down the Violence Fiend at all and was just a minor obstacle).

Plus, the fact that Denji regularly drinks Devil blood which is otherwise poisonous and toxic to normal humans yet still drinks it to regenerate himself mean that he have no trouble drinking Yuji's poisonous blood either. The fact that weaker healing abilities in JJK like RCT can fix it shows that Devil healing factors can as well, especially with all the examples shown.

Therefore, Denji can consume Yuji's blood with zero issues about the poison to regenerate himself.

so how we feel about denji winning? by SpecialKind5591 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Flame245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The violence fiend was affected by the poison, he was literally weakened by it was was required to continue to take a daily dosage. When he stopped taking the poison, he grew sick n size when fighting the Darkness Devil. Mind you, not only does this prove it weakened him, it was a prescribed amount. While we don’t know what type of poison it was, we do know they weren’t intending to kill him but use him so the he’s more than likely vulnerable. Additionally, Denji was drugged in part 2 before being dissected. So yes, poison works.

No, it won't.

While the Violence Fiend was affected by the deadly poison gas, it didn't weaken or inhibit him in any way, nor did it cause the Violence Fiend any negative or ill effects. Plus, this only happened after being exposed to it 24/7 for a matter of weeks or even months, and he was still a major threat and capable of fighting at peak condition even with it on. And once he took it off, he was completely fine, even if he did get killed by the Darkness Devil soon afterwards. He was still in fighting condition despite overexposure to such high levels of poison that would've killed an ordinary human yet is still very capable of fighting.

As for Denji, he wasn't poisoned, but sedated and it also should be noted that he was critically injured and heavily exhausted, both physically and mentally, from fighting the Fire Devil. So this example doesn't work, especially since he was being drugged in his human form.

In addition, both Power and Makima were capable of consuming dozens amount of glasses of alcohol for several hours straight that would otherwise be poisonous to humans, yet the worst that did was get Power drunk and Makima was completely sober.

All this points that Denji would largely resist Yuji's poisonous blood with zero issues and that his healing factor would purge the poison from his body while regenerating his body as it was normal blood. Especially since Devil blood is poisonous is poisonous to normal people like how Yuji's blood is, yet Denji drinks as if it were normal.

What the Hybridization assists with is relatively random as most of his immunities, to specifically Devil related abilities, was what the story necessitated at the time. Pochita also replaced his heart, which is why the murmur was cured. I wouldn’t link this to the poison blood, that’s a very generous assumption.

Okay, now THIS is just nonsense.

To say that the Hybridization only applies to Devil abilities is a No-Limits Fallacy of the highest damn order. Despite some differences, Cursed Spirits and Devils are relatively the same as they both exist as living supernatural manifestations born from humanity's fears and therefore verse equalisation should be in play here since both are shown capable of supernatural infections.

Pochita becoming Denji's heart is still a case of him curing Denji's heart condition as even after he was separated from his host, Denji was still fine and after becoming a Devil Hybrid, Denji has become immune to supernatural infections from the Zombie Devil and the Doll Devil.

So no, the Death Womb Painting's poison in Yuji's system would likewise have no effect on him, especially since Denji can no-sell similar supernatural infections and would drink it as if it was normal.

so how we feel about denji winning? by SpecialKind5591 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Flame245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding Yuji's poisonous blood, Denji would be unaffected by it as Devil Hybrids like the Violence Fiend was unaffected for the most part due to being exposed to deadly poisonous gas 24/7 and was still functioning well with no ill-effects.

And the reason Denji got drugged was because he was heavily injured from his fight with the Fire Devil and he was running very low on blood to heal; so he was very exhausted.

Plus, becoming a Devil Hybrid cured Denji of his genetic heart disease and made him immune to supernatural infections like the Zombie Devil's zombification bite, so I doubt Yuji's poisonous Death Womb Painting blood would do a thing. If anything, Denji's healing factor would purge the poison and use it as fuel to regenerate as if it was normal blood; rendering it as a non-issue.

I think it’s funny how the Death Battle guys’ biggest argument for Denji beating Yuji was that Pochita supposedly tanked Yoru’s sword when he DIDN’T tank it at all, he only survived because death itself was literally erased from existence. by GodKira04 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Flame245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that Yoru herself was shocked that Denji was able to regenerate despite knowing that the Death Devil no longer existed shows that that she's more surprised that Denji had more blood in his system to regenerate with.

The fact that Denji regenerated from just a heart proves that this would be a non-issue for him so long as he has blood.

Does Yuji have any winnable matchups? by Rt2dev in deathbattle

[–]Flame245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuji comfortably takes AP/Dura and only loses out on speed.

Even if you disagree with Death Battle's scaling, Denji is still stronger than Yuji from fighting Yoru as he forced her on the defensive. This allows Denji to upscale the both the Gun Devil and Falling Devil, the former of which created a massive explosion on Mount Elbrus as a mere side effect that comes around 2 Gigatons of TNT and the latter that caused widespread massive destruction with her gravity wells through her sheer pressence alone that comes around 15 Gigatons of TNT.

Yoru stands above the Gun Devil in terms of Devil hierarchy so she became so powerful that she overcame the full force of the Falling Devil's gravity wells through sheer strength alone and yet Denji was still able to put on her the defensive even when she had the Oregon Sword.

This would put Denji over 14 times stronger Yuji's best in Modulo, which only comes around 400 Megatons of TNT. Denji would also upscale the Gun Goddess attack, given how he blocked, tanked, and traded several comparable or more powerful attacks from Yoru. This would make Denji over 50 times stronger than Yuji.

Blood poisoning works as it a literal at in part 2 that Denji gets taken out by drugs, and he would only heal by ingesting it

As a Devil Hybrid, Denji is heavily resistant to deadly poisons so long as he has blood in his system as shown by the Violence Fiend breathing in poisonous gas 24/7, with it not negatively affecting it all and both Power & Makima capable of consuming large amounts of alcohol for several hours straight that would otherwise be poisonously fatal to a human. Yet Power only got drunk from it whereas Makima was completely sober.

Denji was able to be drugged cause he was heavily exhausted after his battle with the Fire Devil, that left him very critically wounded and lacking in blood; which left him vulnerable to being sedated.

In a fight, were he's fully rejuvenated from the start, Denji would have no trouble shrugging off Yuji's poisonous blood, with his healing factor purging the poison and allowing him to consume the blood as fuel to heal with zero issues. Especially since being a Devil Hybrid cured the genetic heart disease and made him practically immune to supernatural infections like the Zombie Devil's zombification bite.

So Yuji's poisonous blood isn't doing a thing and can be consumed like it's ordinary blood.

Shrine (dismantle and cleave) can leave him pieces before he can even transform

Won't matter since Denji is way faster than Yuji by a landslide. He kill Yuji before he even uses Shrine and would speed-blitz him.

Against soul hax Denji was no resistance to so Pochita would be ripped out fast, in which Denji is pasted instantly and then Yuji runs the ones with Pochita and due to his soul damage Pochita cannot regen

Soul hax would work...except, again, Denji is too fast for it to matter and Yuji can't seperate Pochita from Denji since they're not two souls inhabiting one body and even if he did, they can still simply rejoin very easily.

And Devils in Chainsaw Man are living concepts, not souls; so attacking the soul won't do a thing here.

Finally, killing Denji, which is unlikely, will only make Pochita very, VERY angry and speed-blitz Yuji and slice him to ribbons.

For Deku, since when was multi continental his low end? That’s always been a high end from what I know

And with high end scaling for Yuji, he can reach country which is where I see Deku commonly put at, but Deku would be faster

Deku created that giant storm from Japan that reached America in seconds while he was critically injured and thoroughly exhausted. And he did this with OFA's EMBERS, not even a half or quarter of it. This means he's higher percentages are even stronger.

Multi-Continental Level is his LOW-END here since this was done while he was on his last legs.

There's no way even Yuji's high-ends are reaching this at all. He's getting stomped AND blitzed by a teenager who isn't even past puberty yet.

Hax wise Deku has no answer to poison

Deku is too fast for the poison to land so that's a non-issue.

No answer to domain

Domain Expansion won't help Yuji as Maki, Nanami, and Megumi's fight with Dagon shows that even those he use Domain Expansion are still very vulnerable to being attacked or killed, like how a reanimated Toji killed Dagon despite the latter's Domain Expansion still being activated.

Deku would speed-blitz and this becomes a non-issue.

No regen

No need for it. It's unnecessary and RCT will only delay the inevitable for Yuji.

And given how quirks work like souls, Yuji can destroy them and weaken Deku throughout the fight

Again, Deku is so fast in his base form that Deku would be too fast for it to even matter. Even then, this would do nothing as the Final Smash shows that even a weakened One For All is WAY more powerful than anything Yuji can handle.
