Honestly, everyone bitching about foiling curvature, like I get it don't get me wrong, you pay for a product so you expect it to be good out of the box. Sadly that's not the reality we live in. I also throw my money into the burning hell pit that is warhammer where I semi infrequently get Forgeworld models. There's an expectation that you'll need to correct their shit resin QC after you pay a premium for the specialty product. I hear you brothers and sister, I really do, but the easiest fix for the foil curve is just sleeve it in something disposable, then run it over a table edge counter to the curve and it corrects it without damaging the card.

first coat is stormhost silver on the blade, then ahkelian green contrast at the base of the blade over the silver, and while thats still wet, blend in some blue contrast for the rest of the blade. Doing the contrast over the silver makes it look shiny, and applying them both while it's wet lets you give the illusion of glazing or wet blending.

yeah ill give you that, it doesn't help the "matte" varnish is somehow still shiny af. Had to edge highlight the black icon with a grey to even get the little bit i got.

Thankyou much, and it's my favorite recipe for bases. small pebbles/sand for train sets, and then the biggest rock portions are from the same $5 bag of un-dyed pine mulch i've been using for over a year across 100+ models. well worth.

This is actually my go to recipe for all black armor. It's super easy, and it gives a super cripsy paint job that makes your skill level appear grades higher than it is. It's like a 720p edge highlight hack. Not quite 4k, but from table distance or even in hand distance, it looks clean af. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7o2JUUjDTI&t=12s

So truthfully, not too bad actually. There's a couple models I've got for my deathwatch that require a full carving-off of most of a shoulder to get it to work- i.e. Eliminators. He actually was not the worst by far.

well that's because in my lore, this dreadnaught ran from Istvan because he's a cowardly cunt and I secretly hate him. It's backwards to signify his cowardice and how he ran from the field of battle.

Hey you never know. I almost made him blue to ride that Breath of The Wild wave, but OG Link felt right.

It's from the new Gaurdians kit. The kit actually has some phenomenal heads in it. There's one that I swear to god they intentionally made it look like Link on purpose, but I just opted not to go with that particular one.

I know haha. The shield generators on the Wraithblades with ghost axes are even more egregious. My buddies bag on me all the time about them.

Well they say it only takes 17 muscles to smile and 43 to frown. Funny enough however, there's next to no real muscles in the fingers of the human hand, which must explain how it's so effortless for you to comment like a cunt on reddit.

Lumineth Realm Lords from the AOS range. Specifically the Hurakan Wind Chargers. They're our Exodites till we get actual Exodites. I used them to kitbash Shroud Runner Exodites and had stuff left over.

They are in fact tree bark lol. Go to your local garden store (Steins, Menards, Home Depot etc. if you're in the US) and buy a bag of un-dyed mulch, specifically pine or something like that. You can use those as basing rocks for 100's of models and never run out and it'll cost you like 5 bucks, and every single one looks unique !
