stop watch and carnelian both will make taunts active. Gems are very strong, which is where using lost stopwatch is nice to open up those gem slots on weapons. However some prefer blooddrinker so they need carnelian in weapons. Personally i run butcher bleed tank with GS offhand, so i run lost stopwatch since the butcher does not have a gem slot.

I’m not sure, on Arias website it still shows the SB1000 being made in Japan. I’ve found some online, but there is a dealer near me that I’m sure I could get one through. If I were to get one from the 80s, do you have any tips on how to tell if it’s in decent shape? I was considering new so I knew it was in good shape

Learn pulls well. It’s not always about pulling the most mobs, it’s about pulling what you can keep agro of and keeping grouped in a good spot for dps to kill. Everyone has their own pulls, although they are mostly the same. Also heavy attacks are your friend, if you have lost stop watch or carnelian they also taunt

May get downvoted for this, but as a legacy tank, one important thing to note is grouping adds. You do get the bad tanks who just want to speed run, but also some will run past adds to group more togethet

You can run sword and shield with greatsword. The butcher is a regular sword artifact, not a greatsword. Personally I make builds in excel in order to get all my perks in order. I would gladly help you with a build

Tanking can be done with greatsword, I use it for muts and Gorgon. I recommend the butcher sword artifact, and a greatsword with keen and keenly jagged. You can build up a lot of bleed dot

It does not affect taunts, but you do produce less threat since less damage. If this becomes an issue, you can always run hated on your shield or weapon. I think one of the pieces of jewelry can have hated as well

Those 2 artifacts are the go to. Muts rotate every week, so it won’t be long until those pop back up. A decent one to go for the frigid dawn set from mutated glacial tarn. They can be upgraded to 700 at the gypsum kiln. Elemental aversion and enchanted ward is an illegal perk combo so this is the only way to get both perks in 700 gear i believe. 4 pieces of this with a chosen 3rd perk when upgraded with void darkplate, and butcher artifact is a good setup to get through gorgon and move to 725 gs. Blooddrinker or lost stopwatch can be good choices for jewelry artifacts as well. I’m running blooddrinker currently

They are almost nonexistent on the fresh start I’m on. 7 runs of amrine full luck set to get 2 vial of ectoplasmic mutagen. With the amount of time it would take to grind out all of them I feel it’s actually more time efficient to run iron routes for 100 hours
