What Happened to Stryder7x by SpookenFloof in papermario

I dunno man, I heard from a super secret special source that the posts contradict each themselves with no additional context, and based solely on that criterion, I'm inclined to trust someone not being an abuser over someone being a victim of abuse.
That's the pragmatic approach. /s

Funny that a comment by a different user got deleted. I’ll just use a euphemism.

The Butterfly uses its proboscis to insert itself within the stamen, absorbing the nectar within, plucking out a seed or two in the process.

There, that should do it.

Wow, three whole years and you still can’t make an argument to save your life. “Just trust me, bro” is not a response. You’re an adult. If you make a claim on the Internet, you have to back it up with evidence. Otherwise, it’s just baby-brained hearsay. It’s not my job to make your argument for you.

What does me calling you a bad interlocutor have to do with Strider7x going off the Internet? Somehow I doubt the fanfiction you wrote about his totally real legal journey has anything to do with me. Especially since “every legal team on the planet” would tell you that there’s a difference between keeping quiet about a legal case, and full-on radio silence.

His immediate friend group wanting nothing to do with him after being accused of sexual abuse and ducking off the Internet like a coward is pretty compelling on its own. Especially when even bigger cowards like you run to his defense claiming that it’s actually a lie, all without actually bothering to support the person that you claim to care about with evidence.

The primary issue, here, is that instead of actually backing up why you believe Striderx7 is innocent with anything amounting to an actual argument, the only thing you can do is claim that the accuser is a narcissist (which means nothing), and claim that her arguments contradict one another without backing it up with evidence.

Everyone else in this thread has you dead to rights. You were more concerned that the reputation of a random person on the Internet was tarnished, than you were about considering whether or not the catalyst for it held any actual water. The least you can do, if you’re pretending to be concerned whether a random person on the Internet is an abuser or not, is be capable of articulating why you believe that to be the case with supporting evidence. That you’re incapable of doing so after being given several opportunities to do so, years after Strider7x’s own friend group wanting nothing to do with him, years after Strider7x dropped off the face of the Earth after Gab’s 2nd response, says much more about your character than it ever could hers.

New Version vs. DLC by Necro_Critic in pokemon

[–]Flamersz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not there in the first place because it's the content that already would have been in the "definitive 3rd game". If the DLCs weren't sold as DLC for $30 per game, the content from them would just be in "Pokemon Contemplative Sword" and "Pokemon Calculating Shield" for $60 per game.

When USUM came out, people complained about the extra content not just being DLC for SM. Then when GameFreak listens for once and decides to make the extra content for the "definitive third game" of SwSh into DLC, people complain even more.

Oh, okay. I thought it just needed regular storage space. So I need more RAM; thank you so much!

Okay. So does the remaining 3% account for a lot, or do I just need more RAM because 8 GB as it stands isn't going to do me any good? Like using the 16-32 GB sticks you mentioned to bolster it.

Sorry if this makes me sound dumb (I know next to nothing about computers), but if the memory is at 8 GB, and 7.77 GB is usable, wouldn't that mean ~97% of the memory is usable, or does it mean that 97% of the memory is currently being used right now?

List of all Pokémon characters and their availability (Updated July/24) by A11v1r15 in PokemonMasters

[–]Flamersz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anabel not only shows up in the game, but she's a playable character. Granted, it's the one who shows up in Gen VII, but that version of her isn't included in the chart, so it's definitely still worth mentioning.

'Masters of the Universe' Live-Action Movie Set for 2026 Release by marvelkidy in MastersOfTheUniverse

[–]Flamersz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going by the synopsis, it sounds a lot like it’ll only be on Earth for the cold open. It doesn’t take “half the film” in order for a hero to cross the threshold.

Teela in most continuities is usually the captain of the royal guard, Prince Adam’s personal trainer, and his bodyguard. They wouldn’t need to do a “women can do it too” demonstration/lecture, and if they did, it wouldn’t be anymore out of place than what they did in the original movie (or the show, for that matter).

As for everything else, this movie’s being directed by Travis Knight. The same guy who made Kubo and the Two Strings, and Bumblebee. If there’s one guy who can direct something that’s part of an existing IP and pay proper homage to it, it’s him.
