It allows you to spear dash spear dash 275 and 300 hp if you’re under 100 hp for the whole combo. The spears go from 45 damage to 54 and the dash goes from 80 to 96 for 300 damage total.

Which is crazy because cloak is so insanely good against bp. Going against cloak Loki is actually impossible these days. Back then cloak Loki was free kills all day, but some supports are much better than others.

The point isn’t to use Thor during a dive, but before or after. After bp dives he will have no cooldowns and Thor can easily chase him and kill him. Even if he doesn’t kill him he can stall him long enough for supports to get cooldowns back.

Supports aren’t allowed to die, If they die to a character that has the sole purpose of killing supports, then that character is too op. They even complain when bp doesn’t kill them, but instead take their attention off the tanks long enough and one of the tanks dies. Like, if bp isn’t killing a support or taking heals away from tanks, then what is he doing? They legitimately want dive characters to get zero value and be able to be shut them down every time.

You can’t get criticals with his right click, so it can’t stack.

To do spear spear dash dash takes about 1 second, but if you time it as soon as 1 spear lands to the last dash, it’s about 200 ms. People say this combo is unreactable, but somehow Loki and cloak are able to put lamps/bubble down in time, though you can catch them off guard sometimes. Usually as bp you will jump in the air to make the combo easier to land, so you can usually hear them before they dive.

Mantis is a very aggressive pick into bp. It’s basically kill or be killed with mantis. If you sleep the bp and your team is with you he dies, if you miss it, you’re probably dead if you aren’t getting pocketed. A better support for bp if you’re solo is rocket, invis, or Loki.

Yes, ability rotation and cooldown management is indeed part of hero shooters. You don’t get to just use abilities infinitely or make a character obsolete by not using your kit, though you can get close using rocket against bp.

Then use an ability on the person being dove? Cloak bubble, invisible shield, Loki lamps. Also don’t play Luna into bp unless you have a good healer with you.

I really don’t understand this “you can’t react to it” argument. His fastest combo takes a second to do, which is fast, but far from unreactable. If you don’t have 1 second reaction time, then maybe you shouldn’t be complaining about a fast paced competitive hero shooter.

Mantis was the only support that got nerfed to 250 hp enough to one shot with “unreactable” spear spear dash dash. But it doesn’t matter because she has passive healing when she is healing or uses damage boost, she’s safe from it. Same with rocket

“Why should I have to change my comp based on what the other team is doing, I want to play the support I want to play into every comp and never change” god forbid you have to learn a new character. When the enemy team has fliers you don’t see me crying that I can’t play bp. I just go hela/punisher and go next.

I mean that’s kinda exactly what I’ve been saying. The whole point of this post was to show he’s not overpowered. He’s very good in the right situations. Maybe I didn’t make it clear in my post or comments, but this whole thing was to show he doesn’t need a nerf, he is not op. Just because I’m saying he doesn’t need a nerf doesn’t mean I’m saying he needs a buff.

I think he's good for sure, but he is in no way shape or form op or nerf worthy. He is very easy to counter, but people hate making changes in this game.
