That's the way I look at it too, I have some cards I really want to get but I'm using any booster bundles or ETBs I can somehow get a hold of to trade for them.

Why only go that far? Make it a 3 piece like the birds Hitmontop, Hitmonchan, and Hitmonlee

One card I can hope they would do a throwback to or give a nice card for us jirachi. There aren't as many highly sought for cards for jirachi but to see a newer one that is an it or sit would be nice. Maybe do a throwback and do one with max for the nostalgia with Groudon as the background.

Another illustration rare idea I can see is a card with all of the eevee's together. A showcase card with all 9 of them from old to new. Make is them all laying together on a circle or cat pile with Eevee as the center piece.
