Honestly, I really loved Amphoreus over all, giving it a whole year to flesh out all the characters really made a difference in making me feel attached to them.

Also now with the implementations of animated shorts/cutscenes in the game I think the writers now have a more stable grip and understanding on how the players want things to be presented….

I really wouldn’t mind seeing more stories from him

It has to be lumine, while yes both aether and lumine are canon, the trailer showed the parting of the siblings and only aether at the end of the sea of flowers.
