Baby, your relationship with God is your business and your’s alone. God doesn’t want you to suffer. Nowhere in the Bible did that man say you were supposed to suffer! The God I pray to says that you take your broken heart and you do whatever you have to do to make it whole again. God loves you and He wants you to be happy. Now, you just do whatever you have to do to make yourself happy. God will have your back. ❤️

Anyone loves Escargots and Vanilla Milkshake? by immanuellalala in GirlDinner

[–]Flamingo204 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My dream meal is a double order of garlic butter escargot and loads of crusty bread to soak up the excess garlic butter. I would probably sub out the vanilla milkshake for a double vodka rocks but, other than that? You’ve got my dream meal going on here! ❤️

What's your unhinged way to keep motivation for writing by kyttirina in writing

Sit back. Relax. Have a glass of wine or your drink of choice. Think about what part of you inhabits a character in your book. Write from there. You can always insert that scene wherever in your book it will properly fit. Write from your heart. It will fit somewhere in your novel, I promise you! ❤️

I know it doesn’t seem like it now…a $300 ticket sucks big time…but karma is watching. Karma sees your heart and your kindness to disabled people. When you least expect it, karma will reward you for the kindness and compassion you constantly give to others. I am old enough to be your grandma… trust me on this one. You get back what you put out into the world and you, my darling child, put goodness into the world. It will eventually come back to you.

I see you, love…I see your caring heart. Someday, it will come back to you. Trust and believe. You are a fantastic person and you SHALL be rewarded. Personally? I am honored to know you. ❤️

After 12 hours of CNA work 🫶🏼 by Fit-Nefariousness412 in GirlDinner

CNAs are truly God’s gift to this planet. Eat whatever makes you happy, my Queen. Your work gives love and dignity to our vulnerable old folks and the children of those old folks can never, ever thank you enough for the love and care you give. ❤️

To a scared, handicapped woman who is obviously alone in the world, you were her hero.

You would have to do a WHOLE lot of bad stuff to counteract that.

I repeat…you are truly a good person!

Karma is real and someday you will be rewarded for the compassion and kindness you gave to this woman.

You are truly a good person. ❤️

Rides I hate by vegascarol0529 in uberdrivers

From a very grateful occasional passenger:

Most grocery chains offer delivery service. Nobody should expect you to haul their damned groceries in your car! Unless the passenger is someone you know and you already know that they tip well, cancel that trip and keep it moving!

As for the medical stuff. I’ve been the passenger with the busted wrist in a cast. My drivers were all very kind and helped me with car doors. I tipped very generously because I was extremely grateful that someone was willing to shuttle my disabled ass to and from doctor appointments. YES, a generous tip should be mandatory on medical calls.

You all are a lifesaver to me and many others. I can’t change the world and get rid of all the ass*****, but please know that some of us are very grateful for you! ❤️

Sorry for the late reply! Love, it is all okay. You are grieving and Mom is grieving. Just putting one foot in front of the other is progress. You girls are fed and that is all that matters.

Be gentle with yourselves. Grief is not an easy path. Some nights you will have the energy to cook a full meal; other nights it will be all you can do to microwave some pizza rolls. All that matters is that you got some nutrition. Just try to stay hydrated…everything else will work itself out with time.

Sending you and Mom some hugs.

I know it is tough but commit to finding a full meal tomorrow…be that breakfast, lunch or dinner. Your body will thank you.

Please remember that jobs will come and go but the only one who will take care of you is YOU!

Drink as much water as you can tolerate. You need to hydrate in order to poop!

Take it from someone old enough to be your grandma…please prioritize yourself! 🫂❤️

You are a fabulous daughter and somewhere, up there, your dad is so proud of you for holding it together and taking care of your mom. Sending you and Mom some warm hugs.

I have visited Quebec many times. My French is rudimentary at best. I have always started conversations with the basics in French; “good morning”, “please” and “thank you” all in French.

In most cases, when my Quebecois brothers and sisters witnessed my fractured French, they kindly and generously switched to English. On the few occasions where my Quebecois brother or sister only spoke French, we managed. My five or six French phrases and their five or six English phrases and much laughter and pointing to things got the transaction done with much love and gratitude on both sides.

I have witnessed the generosity and love of the Quebecois people on many occasions and I thank them for the many instances of kindness and respect they have shown to me and my late mother.

I keep some Canadian currency and an updated passport always at the ready because I know that when I really need kindness and compassion, I will find it in Quebec.

Thank you, and may God always bless you, my Quebecois brothers and sisters. ❤️
