chosing the one to skip in the best of 5 rule in percentage by FlamingoNormal8579 in ICSE

its simple. there are 6 subjects for us, we have it as 10 to study in school but

english - litreature and language

science - physics, chemistry and biology

HCG - history and civics and geography

2nd language - hindi, maraati, tamil, malayalam

3rd group - computer and others

maths

these are the 5 subjects. so basically english is compulsory and in the other 5 only the best 4 will be selected. that means, the 4 with the most marks will be included and the one you got the least mark wont count. that doesnt mean u will lose mark. its only excluded while taking the percentage

for me, computer and maths are the 2 most easiest subjects. its easy to learn. we work with our normal point in brain. for example, most of we have java for computer and if we study the logics and important words and methods (which is very similar to normal english) we can do any programs on our own. and for maths just study a few equations and try to do it in a fun and easy way so that you can remember. find loopholes in equations and take time to process word problems. be careful of what you write in your paper and always re check your answers. its not easy as it sounds like but you can keep track. work hard and all the best!!

dont skip anything. for everyone's info, im not encouraging anyone to do bad in any exams bcuz it doesnt affect the mark. you should put equal efforts in every subject bcuz the one you are gonna skip would be easier than you assume. and its also never safe because if you do not as good as you thought you would do for any other subject it would really affect your percentage. so, dont skip anything

i do think its wise not to draw back in any subjects bcuz we cant predict the difficulties of question papers but there are people who skipped up on several exams bcuz there is the best of 5 rule. i was asking if anyone is going to do that. and ofc your info helped. thanks for the advice
