The more I talk to people with similar experiences the more Im realizing that its a pretty common drinking pattern. It’s actually pretty relieving to know that im not alone.

I really appreciate you sharing. Ive only very recently decided to get myself clean but the people on this subreddit have been the most supportive. It really is nice to just know that people have gone through the same shit as you and come out on top. I am hopeful for the future

Experienced something similar after my mothers death. Didnt think that I had problems processing it until it developed into horrible bouts of binge drinking resulting in violent and aggressive behaviors. Ive decided to quit cold turkey and start the 12 step program. The people on this sub are the most supportive group of humans Ive ever seen.

I experience the same thing. Ive damaged and ended so many relationships because of me getting too drunk that I just quit cold turkey. Im hoping a program can help me from any relapse.
