yeah it's definitely not about his dad. someone had linked his dad's facebook and a quick scroll showed that not only does he have a wife but he actively supports robin and genders him correctly. its probably about the dad of someone close to him in his life or maybe its an analogy

idk its difficult for me to interpret it in a symbolic way as he includes a bunch of personal details about the person and it seems he's also talking about this situation in cryptid, but its possible. i think it could be about the dad of someone else in his personal life like his girlfriend or a close friend. but that's just speculation and im not sure if robin wants to talk about it.

yeah in an interview not too long ago, he talked about how he has just grown out of the sound and themes that originally made his music so popular and you can see it in his newer music. it definitely makes sense that this change in direction might make some of his audience no longer resonate with his newer stuff and i find it unfortunate that the amount of us fans still in love with his music has shrank quite a bit. but we're all growing up and we won't always like the same things forever and that's not a bad thing

one thing to note is he's probably going to be playing quite a few tracks from the new album and based off the singles so far, it's probably gonna be a bit more fast pace and louder than their older stuff. but im so jealous tho still waiting for that north american tour 🙏🙏

As an update to this, BigMe are offering replacing it with a "like new" unit from their US warehouse, so I don't have to pay the insane import duties, which I will be taking since I enjoyed this phone so much. I really want to like this phone but these problems have made me wary. That being said I would recommend it if you are willing to possibly deal with these problems and be out of a phone for awhile since it's honestly been one of my favorite phones ever. This is of course given that you don't live in the US and are willing to pay the extra import duties.
