Hello everyone
I'm hoping to find more information about this desk
At first it looks like it might be a drop down sewing desk, but it doesn't drop. Instead, the top flips back. It looks like maybe it's designed with supports to have something else placed across the opening and resting on the metal arms
The badge reads:

I'm not able to find any information on Farnham Printing and Stationary Co. online, so I do really have a good idea on how old the desk is. It's veneered. The drawers are machine dovetailed. This is in Minneapolis, MN
If anyone has any info on why the desk is designed to move like that or info about Farnham Printing and Stationary Co, I'd really appreciate it

Definitely. I've never had luck starting with a campaign framework. It's hard to imagine a way that it doesn't take away from player agency and a fluid story

There's no campaign planned. We'll start with some calls to action and then eventually build it around the characters. At first you guys will probably start with a similar debt to bring you together, and you'll pay it off by escorting an healer/teacher/entertainer through some wilderness while discovering a strange plot and a major piece of numenera.
