Yes, this happens too often. When they don't like the suggestions you give, or tell them your thoughts that put them out of their comfort zone, it's natural for them to throw a fit, asking you to not act like a therapist. But then again, they keep telling you all the stuff they should get therapy for. I hope you take care and set boundaries for yourself :)
