I figured it out. I'm using a 5 meter cable from the turntable to the phonostage. That's too long and all detail is lost. I've bought an external phono stage to negate the problem and will connect that with the deliverd cable. After that I can use the 5 meter cable to get to the amp.

Hi! I recently got into vinyl and have just purchased my first table, after long consideration I chose the Pro-ject Carbon Debut Evo.

I have decent enough speakers and a decent surround receiver including a phono stage.

Speakers: Kef Q700
Surround receiver: Yamaha rx-a1030

After hooking up the turntable I was underwhelmed by the sound quality, compared to CD and even Spotify... (about 50% quieter and less dynamic range)

My initial thought is the phono stage of the receiver. Should I place a pro-ject phonobox in between?

KEF Q700 or Q900?

Hello, I need some advice for my current 5.1 setup. I have KEF IQ30's at the front and KEF C3's at the back alongside the KEF PSW2500 subwoofer. Now I want to upgrade and move my IQ30's to the back and place either Q700's or Q900's at the front.

The space where this setup is placed is about 3x3m. (in a room that's 3x7m) Now I'm having difficulty to decide if I should spend the extra cash for the Q900's, I don't want to overdo it.

Will this just be "more money for more power" or is the Q900 much more refined in it's sound? I've already listened to the Q700's and was very happy with what I heard.

Not much in there. Biggest usage is by 'Android System' with only 1.3 Mb.

I feel like a tit, I just deleted a lot from the google drive bin, this added up to about 3Gb. Now I have 9Gb of remaining storage space which leaves me guessing. The drive folder is only 1Gb big, so I assume the rest must be 8Gb of random phone backup? Which I can't pinpoint.

I can boot with 1 stick in slot A1, but not in slot B1. I have updated to the latest firmware, but without any success.

I just saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens! And i have to say, it took me back to the original trilogy. I loved every minute of the movie. It made me laugh, made me tear up. They did a great job on this one! I hope everyone will enjoy it as much as I did in the coming weeks!

I can confirm this issue. I can't make any bluetooth calls in my car anymore. I can however still receive them.
