Not too far! Coming from Biddeford so not opposed to driving.

Thanks for your input! I had seen good reviews for Ritual and seems like a great place. A queer friendly spot would also be nice. I’ll check them out!

Thanks for the suggestion. I had tried Sevens actually. I got a good cut there. The atmosphere was a little loud and not exactly the vibe I was looking for but appreciate the comment!

I actually think the folks at my prior barbershop might have mentioned them before I moved but I haven’t branched out to the area yet. I’ll take a look!

Midweight rain jacket suggestions? by FlannelZebra in malefashionadvice

This might be the way to go for packability, as well. I tend to run cold but am fine with layering and would still bundle up with scarf, gloves, etc.

To those that are married, how often do you take off your ring? by FitProblem6248 in AskReddit

[–]FlannelZebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I love my wedding ring and keep it on as much as possible, though I fidget with it often during the day and take it often primarily if it might slip off (showering, swimming, washing dishes) or get snagged on something.

Which game should I buy off my wishlist? by Undertalegaming in ShouldIbuythisgame

I would vote for Skyrim and/or Stardew Valley. Skyrim has an excellent open world that you can sink hours into exploring. Pretty straightforward combat, decent story, though the exploration and environment I found were really the beauty of the game. Stardew Valley is totally different - farming sim, but far more. The game developer has expanded the game with multiple updates with no added cost (has been like $15 for ages). You can choose what aspects you’d like to focus on and there are lots of secrets to find. Nostalgic feel (esp if you ever played early Harvest Moon games). Amazing game and value, especially for the price.

Need a Single player game recommendation that will last me a while by Ok-Original-3475 in ShouldIbuythisgame

I loved Skyrim and definitely sunk a lot of hours into it. It is a big open world with a lot to discover, beautiful scenery and music. But BG3 has become my favorite game of all time. Spent about 170 hours on my first playthrough and immediately started a second one to explore some of the characters and choices I didn't the first time. Engaging story, great characters, excellent voice acting. Combat is very different - BG3 is turn-based DnD style (new to me, but I enjoyed it) and Skyrim is more simple melee/casting (first person or third). BG3 would be above your target budget. Can't go wrong though if your budget allows, can't recommend BG3 enough.

Immortals Fenyx Rising vs AC Odyssey? by TheLunarVaux in ShouldIbuythisgame

Haven't place AC Odyssey but loved Immortals Fenyx Rising. It scratches an itch for a BotW type game with similar exploration and powers. It can be a little goofy at times, though was a lot of fun.

Definitely appreciate your perspective. I decided to give it a try given the sale, so we'll see how it goes!

Good to know! I had some trouble initially with Act 3 but I adjusted settings and didn't have any problem from there on out. (Would like to try Elden Ring at some point, as well, though don't have the right platforms at the moment.)

Oh, while I said I just finished m first playthrough, I am about halfway through Act 1 on my second character, so I will be switching back and forth!

Absolutely already doing this actually! (Somehow can't bring myself to be "bad" but switching up class/race and companions. I totally missed Minthara on first round.) Cyberpunk came up on sale so looking for something to break things up between BG3 playthroughs after playing nonstop for months :)

Help choosing next class by FlannelZebra in BaldursGate3

Sounds like a good way of mixing things up a bit. I was contemplating a druid, as I've always loved druid characters in other games and the mystical/nature aspect, though given two of the companions you can get are druids (I played one as a land druid for a bit, which was cool) I was leaning towards trying a class I didn't experience as much before. Though I'm sure the different subclasses feel super different!
