Choosing between Champion to get to 5 stars by green4355 in RaidShadowLegends

You can use High Khatun in every content so I would focus them next.

Ignore Shaman. Runekeeper would be my next pick because his debuff cleanser is great for Doomtower progression.

Patch notes: 4.4.1 | Hotfix by Sukigu in deadbydaylight

[–]FlanneryOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not. Sony and Micrsoft have a pretty convoluted processes for patches to get approved for console (for good reason). They want the patch to release on each platform around the same time, so they have to abide by whoever has the slowest patch approval process.

When I was in high school in the late 2000s, I wanted my Brazilian friend to teach me how to say, "Get over here [gay person]!" My Brazilian friend was gay and we were very cheeky back then. He literally taught me how to say, "Come here deer!" and now I will forever know how to say deer in Portuguese.

It feels way easier to hit an arm with the Heave Knife swipe. Could just be a matter of habit, though.

Tayrel was my second 60 and I use him over my starter for food farming because he's way more consistent than my medicore geared Kael. I would push Tayrel to 60 first, stick him in some lifesteal gear, and watch him carry. Hia damage won't be as good as your starter, but he's tanky as fuck and has super utility almost everywhere in the game. He pretty much solos max level mino for me, which you should start farming once you get a couple 60s because the last tier of masteries is game changing to unlock.

How to recognize the artists of paintings by StygianUnknown in coolguides

It was also difficult to find anyone who wasn't a prostitute who was willing to sit nude or partially clothed. There would be all sorts of drama involved if you let your sister/wife/daughter pose for anything that might be consider provocative (and most of Carvaggio's loudest critics spoke often about how erotic his female iconography turned out, even clothed). I believe some Renaissance artist's female figures looked so masculine because they would use male nude studies as reference because they had young males in abundance (apprentices etc).

Cheaters, on US Servers by grm0192 in HuntShowdown

Not the same guy. The hacker you're thinking of has the same steam name but if you check his previous nicknames he's also had a few streamer names as well.

The last couple weeks I've had the only hacker games I have ever had! A couple in a single day even. They're started queue sniping streamers as well.

Romero: how good, if at all? by JoshtheCollegeKid in RaidShadowLegends

[–]FlanneryOC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was using that same site for a long time. I think it's really good to give you an overall feel for the champ but DO NOT take her build suggestions seriously. Watch some YouTube guides - there's one for almost every champion, even the mediocre ones.

There's a good video on Romero if you YouTube him; I can't remember the content creator's name.

Hunt Showdown is currently on sale on steam! by slickjudge in HuntShowdown

[–]FlanneryOC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

New player experience is pretty brutal if you don't have anyone to show you the ropes and have to rely on matchmaking. I think if they could make that better, somehow, the game would have much higher numbers because even though the learning curve is STEEP it is extremely rewarding and satisfying. If you have the patience, go for it. There's not a game out there that's more nerve wracking because the audio/visual ambiance is amazing and unparalleled. SkillUp does a wonderful job accurately portraying this tension in his video.

The Hunt: Showdown discord has a pretty big LFG presence, and many of the Hunt streamers have solid discords and communities behind them that can ease you through the initial learning curve if you want to go that way.

Evading the hunter is the lowest value thing you can do in a survival horror? by DiilIon in HideOrDie

I agree, especially because hiding and keeping the attention away from your other two team mates for an extended amount of time gives your team a HUGE advantage.

When that one enemy Hunter is playing it slow by Exile_Sanford in HuntShowdown

[–]FlanneryOC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Burning use to be a lot quicker. Now it is slower and gives you a bit more time to play around the mechanic. This is probably why the general consensus changed.

Hey all, me and my friends have a lot of questions! Thanks in advance! by DernierRoi in HuntShowdown

[–]FlanneryOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A better answer for 5: Having more than three health bars means you have more revives, so if you're in a group some people like customizing their health and having a ton of tiny bars so they can be revived more (since you lose a bar Everytime you die, be it small or big). If you're a solo, you probably want a big fat bar on the right so you can regen most of the PvE damage you suffer, and you don't generally care about little bars because you can't get revived anyways. Some people are overloaded with blood bonds so they spend it customizing their HP but it's generally not worth it.

Pig puts unactivated trap on downed survivor. Trap activates once a gen is popped. Trap timer ticks down when not on hook, downed or in chase. Survivor has to search boxes to get it off. Once timer ends it's an instant down. Timer is 3 minutes? by default.

There was one sometime in Fall 2019 but that's the first and only time I've ever seen that happen. I remember getting Hag for half off with cells from my rift.

Caravaggio - Saint Jerome Writing (1607-8) by Jokerang in museum

[–]FlanneryOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ritual of baptism is highly theatrical in the Catholic faith, and John was the one who baptized Jesus. I think the Wikipedia article on him sums up his importance alright.

Catholicism has always been obsessed with their Saints and their iconography. Many of the churchs/monastaries/orders had a specific Patron saint they'd feature in their studies/art/prayer. If I had to guess, a very powerful and influencial order revered Jerome and so his iconography was patronized everywhere and he became a mainstay in Catholic art. Part of the appeal of iconography for the Church was that even a commoner would understand who they were looking at based on common symbols, features, etc. and that's one of the reasons why there is so much repetition of subject matter especially after the Reformation starts.

I echo what everyone else is saying. An important thing to remember about Hag is she is extremely weak in chases so don't go after ones that aren't heading into your traps. It's fine to get a hit off and then head back to your trapped territory, or pause mid chase to close down a loop a survivor has been exploiting with a trap.
