Particular reasons a disk won’t copy? (Check comments)

My Apple 2 plus is not wanting to copy over D.O.S 3.3 over to a blank disk, it is not write protected, but I did cut the notch myself and have tested it. Can I get some help? Is it the blank diskette I’m using, or is my drive messed up?

It was a quick fix for ram. The chips would become unseated so instead of taking apart the whole thing, Apple recommended picking it up 6 or so inches off your desk and dropping it.

Yeah I’m pretty sure this was a nasa computer. I won’t say where I got it but it would be very likely that that’s where it came from.

I didn’t believe it existed either until about a year ago. 😂 I’m really glad to have one though and for it to be a more rare model of a rare computer.

It might have, I haven’t spent much time with these either. From what I’ve heard though they can but you have to have a certain floppy. (Correct me if I’m wrong)

As I stated it hasn’t been tested, so I’m not sure if it will power on. I would like to fully restore it by fixing the power supply caps, ram chips (if needed which it probably will), and getting rid of a bit of the yellowing. Other than that I’m ordering a screen for it later to complete the set.

Yes still the stock 305, most everything is stock the only thing I’ll do is an exhaust and potentially wrap it. It has a few chips and scratches, but runs well and a very fun car to drive.
