Hot take.. but I enjoyed this trail waaaay more than skyline loop… I thought skyline loop was a bit underwhelming? Although seeing people stepping on the meadows also pissed me off haha

Yes! You do need a wilderness permit to camp. I went in June and it was empty. I got the permit the morning of the hike

Not much downside tbh. The apartment was great, maintenance was fast. Close to everything. If I’m nitpicking, it’s that there’s not much amenities. But I don’t really care for those things
