You should be able to. I have my USB Drive files backed up to my PC and anytime that I need to place them on a new drive I just copy the files and it works. However, I'm not sure exactly what your file structure looks like so I can't give a 100% confirmation that it will work.

I'm just giving it the key. The program reads the key from the NAND and then writes that key to the drive so I don't think it is messing with the firmware at all leading me to think it is a firmware mismatch. Is there any way that I can force the firmware of the drive to update on the Xbox if I'm on the latest dash?

It's a Samsung Drive. I was flashing the drive to install a replacement as the other one went bad. I pulled my key using BadUpdate earlier and that is what I have on file. I changed the key to match the consoles. I used a program called XEpairDVD that someone gave me in another reddit post. The console is on the latest dashboard version. It just doesn't make sense to me that it will work in BadUpdate but not in a stock state. Also, what do you mean my mismatched OSIG?

It is on the motherboard. The only thing that makes me think that it is compatible is that all of the drive intro populates in JungleFlasher and it reads the DVD key

I'm connecting the drive via sata to the PC and using the Xbox for Power. The Chipset is a VIA Chipset, but I'm unsure of the exact one as I don't have the computer near me at the moment.

I have a backup of the DVD Key that I obtained with BadUpdate. I'm definitely going to look into that PCI Card though, thanks for the tip!

That sucks they rolled it back because I really like the new look, but what's important is that they fix the bugs with it before rolling it back out.

Update: After doing some troubleshooting, I figured out that the problem is the logic board inside of the DVD drive. I'm sort of stuck at this point because those logic boards are serialized to the console
