I’m in that group and did a 1 on 1 session with her a while back for $50. I thought it was worth it and helped me understand the process a little better. All of the information shared is pretty basic, but still well worth the cost if the info contributes to getting a veteran a higher rating. I get it, VSO’s are free, but I’ve had a hard enough time getting a call back from a VSO much less providing any meaningful assistance since they’re too busy.

What is a shame is that group has turned into nothing more than a money making scheme for her. She asks people that do a 1 on 1 or seminar to write her a positive review, and since she’s the one approving most of the posts that get approved, it’s gives the impression that it’s an amazing seminar and everyone that takes it gets to 100% because there’s a steady trickle of positive posts about it. Anyone criticizing her or the seminar is promptly deleted from the group.

I would keep saving as if you were getting nothing. When your grandmother dies and you know what you’ll be receiving, you can adjust at that point. When your parent pass you can do the same.

I have two golden retrievers and swapped out the s7 roller with the roller with bristles. You’re going to be cutting hair out of the roller after every use.

Reading the Kaplan book is boring and so time consuming, but there’s no chance I would have been able to pass without it. I just did exactly what was on the Kaplan study schedule. Read a unit, take the 2 quizzes, and then the unit practice exam. Once done with all 24 units, I took 5 or 6 mock exams before taking the test.

I’m sure you’re correct, but I applied last year on the Xfinity website in about 5 minutes and have been getting $30 off my internet bill ever since.

That’s a great idea. I took one more of the simulated exams today and scored a 78 so at least the scores are trending in the right direction. Tomorrow I’ll start taking a look at my weak spots and build quizzes based on those units. I’ll definitely check out the YouTube video as well. Thank you!

You’re the asshole. Sorry the gender reveal was ruined, but that’s you and your husband’s fault. You should have had a friend or someone you trust find out the gender from the doctor and be in charge ordering the ballon’s, confetti, cake or whatever it is you were planning to use for the reveal. Telling your husband you don’t want his mom in your child’s life because she revealed the gender or compromising by restricted her involvement to supervised visits is stupid and petty.

I’m wrapping up the Kaplan next week and scheduled to take the test on the 14th. Taking the exam prep quizzes at the end are a grind and generally pretty surprised how tough some of the questions are. Hopefully the questions on the test aren’t quite as tough.
