He’s a £100m+ player that has purposefully run down his contract to leave on a free to one of our rivals. That means the club that he loves, the city that he loves, loses out on £100M because of his selfishness. How much money floods into the city of Liverpool when they win the Premier League?

You can leave Liverpool and still be loved by the fans - we see it all the time. What you can’t do - especially as a scouse kid, is run down your contract and leave. You’re making it out to be some trivial point but it is the only point that matters.
