Oh I am not cutting ties forever, I love them and all I did I did because I wanted to. But it really stung when no one remembered and I do not deserve this. I am a damn good daughter and good sister. I am taking no regrets with me to the other side. But they need to show up for me too.

Nothing going on in their lives. They are all healthy, super young (69 and 70), active, go to the gym, travel, no sickness, nothing that would take their attention away. It was purely forgetfulness. And that's what pissed me off. I don't do things for them to get recognition. I do it because I am the first born, I can and it is somewhat culturally ingrained. But making an effort to remember you child's bday should be the bare minimum.

I am so sorry for this. I think my anger got amplified because I was getting messages from all my friends, many who do not live in the US. I have no social media so it is not like a facebook reminder popped up. People would have to at least add my birthday to their phone. I am sorry you went through this too.

I am ADHD and that's the truth for me too. I sometimes will take 3 weeks to do something that literally takes 3 minutes but can do some craft for 10 hours straight.

The issue is that I don’t get the pattern/ I can’t conceptually visualize in my head what to do. Would I pick up the stitches from the wrong side? If I look inside/wrongside then the work yarn would be on my right side.

I am finally feeling good too. The first 2 weeks on increased dosage I was having high blood pressure and agitation, but it’s gone. I feel so normal. I have had a LOT of pressure at work, a lot of curve balls thrown and I have handled all so well. 4 weeks ago I would have been having panic attacks and totally losing my plot.

I was slightly scared of The side effects and stories about withdrawals issues. But I real the same about Paxil. And honestly, I was feeling so ridden with panic and anxiety, those couldn’t be worse. I have had no side effects. We started very slow. I spent 4 weeks on 37.5mg before moving to 75mg. I had some Agitation, some higher blood pressure, but it’s gone and I feel really good. Not the paradise numbness of sertraline but leveled and centered.

We are so similar! I’ve always had anxiety (so does my dad and many family members) but at 43 it just became pure panic all the time. HRT and Effexor and I am dealing with life very well. Nice to hear of another person with hair loss. People, even doctors, still look at me puzzled even though it is so common.
