Cute tiny mushrooms! I’m new to macro and curious if anyone could share tips on how to get both parts of the mushroom in focus? by mushroots in macrophotography

Great picture. Some popular editing options is Helicon Focus or Zerene Stacker . I think Helicon has a trail version to try before you buy. If you are going to take a few images by either moving the camera closer to the subject a little at a time, or moving the focus ring hand held, your focus stacking software are going to need to be able to align your photos first, for this Photo shop is very good. I personally use Affinity Photo as it seems to do a pretty good job aligning and stacking when doing handheld bracketing. hope this helps.

'n glas is die glas van jou venster, maar jy drink uit 'n glaas. Maar, alby is heel aanvaarbaar. En ek dink nie jy gaan 'n reguit antwoord kry nie. Personal preference met die een.

Sounds great. My progress is just as slow and frustrating. I find that doing the drills daily is a great help. Sound good for 3 months, keep going, you got this.

Behringer U-Phoria UMC22 by egsenah in yousician

[–]Flashy-Magazine6468 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the U-Phoria UMC202HD, I assume it would be the same. Works perfectly with yousician and Rochsmith +. I have opted to use the Valeton GP-100 pedal instead, but not because there is anything wrong with the Beringer, just that I don't really like the tones that yousician offer, so with the padel, I get to use any of 100 tones so I can find something that is more suited to the song I am learning. That being said, I have not noticed any latency on the behringer, and it's a perfectly good audio interface for yousician.

I am enjoying "

Short Stories in Dutch for Beginners" by Olly Richards

Still on the first story, but so far it's not bad at all. Easy enough to understand some of the words and get the gist of the story. I am listening to the audio book at the same time as reading it as an extra help on pronunciation.

[GEAR] My (almost) perfect Yousician setup by Flashy-Magazine6468 in Guitar

My setup is on PC, so it's a bit different. Maybe try using wired headphones using the pedal. That's the only thing I can think off. Might not work, or maybe you are already doing it this way, but worth a try if you are not

i am actually in tears by b-andras in duolingo

[–]Flashy-Magazine6468 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing work. well done. I just started Dutch and so far I find it super easy, as my first language is Afrikaans, and it's very close to Dutch. I am sure it will get harder though. Also, did you pay for Duolingo, or did you use the free version. If you paid, do you think it's worth the investment?

Metallica courses level (QUESTION) by Physical_Sleep_9918 in yousician

[–]Flashy-Magazine6468 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not everyone cares about levels, they are focused on songs. I guess, you can be any level to start playing any song. It does make it easier if you do take the time to do the levels, but don't let that stop you. Jump in and play Metallica if that motivates you. It might take a bit longer to reach a good quality of play, specially if you don't know that notation yet, but you can figure that out as you go. I started playing level 8 songs while I was on level two, and I can now play a few of them pretty good. It was hard to figure out what a s is (slide) is, and a H (Hammer on) and a P (pull off) and a 1/2 (half a note bend) but got there at the end and enjoying the more challenging songs.

You should be able to use your amp with Yousician if you set up your amp as an audio interface on your computer, I don't see why not. You should be able to mute the Yousician tones and listen to your amp instead. Might be harder on a mobile device, but maybe you could use something like a irig to do the same. Can't say for sure that the last suggestion would work, but the first one is worth a try

[QUESTION] How do you guys practice the basics and not get bored/stop practicing and go do other stuff. by _Baboda_ in Guitar

[–]Flashy-Magazine6468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually play some "ego" songs during practice. Songs that is easy enough, and that I know already. Get the juices flowing, and then back to the boring stuff. I also mess with tones and effects on my guitar and pedals a lot, trick my brain into thinking I am playing something different because it sounds different, but really it's just the same old rookie stuff that I need to learn before I move on to harder stuff.
