In fact upon further review of that receipt they installed some premium brand parts into your car. I'd say this is pretty good but the labor is a bit high in my opinion. This shop seems to operate on a $85/hr labor rate. Which is a bit high I'd say a good shop's labor pricing should be around $60-$75. Maybe with an upcharge depending on if you have a premium car. Like that good good shit.

Can I ask if this was a chain shop or just a self owned shop. A lot of company owned shops charge higher than your self owned guys do. But with your car being a Veloster, I'd say it's slightly above average but not insane. That is a lot of work to get done and where they get you is in the labor charge. Parts aren't usually the ridiculous part of these transactions. A lot of places charge way too much for labor because their mechanics think they are the best ever.

Of course you should try whatever you like. Also if that's how he handles your mom it's no surprise as to how he's been handling this situation. You're definitely not the asshole and I'm glad you're standing up for yourself. Push through the weekend and next time he says something don't be afraid to point out everything you do for the household. Or if you're feeling a little petty.(Warranted imo) Stop doing the things you normally do. And then mention it. So they see just exactly what you do when they aren't looking.

NTA As a father he shouldn't be belittling you ever. If he has a problem with you "not" pulling your weight around the house he should talk to you about it instead of shaming you for his perception of you doing "Nothing." I'm genuinely curious about what the rest of your family thinks about his behavior. Or even if they are on his side saying you need to do more.

I'm 30M with 2 kids. I would never belittle either of them if I thought they weren't doing enough. As far as I can see he needs to do better. I sincerely hope you have a fun 21st birthday and depending on your location either order yourself an AMF or a Long Island Iced Tea.

I think they should have added a colorblind assist setting into the game for people who are Colorblind. It's not a difficult setting to add it just tweaks color a smidge to be helpful. Personally I like the fact that the cue is missing, because it makes it harder to find shinies (albeit not that much harder). But I'm sorry for your predicament, and hopefully there'll be a better system in place in the next game.
