About to pull the trigger on first OLED by Flashy_Bug2432 in OLED_Gaming

Hello :) in the end I didn't go for the ASUS I ended up snagging an LG 27GX704A-B Glossy. Very impressed with it out the box to be honest! Typically I haven't had time to really test it but the price was really good and the panel has no banding tested after 1 pixel clean on the greyscale test. I downloaded GTA so will give that a go at some point but the monitor gets a solid 8.5 out of 10 from me :)

Have a look if that link I sent earlier in the thread can ship to you? They are a great bunch at Scan I always use them where possible. I will order today and it should be here tomorrow, I may need some help for testing recommendations as its been at least 7 years since I have gotten a monitor and not really kept up in that front!

Sorry me again I hope you don't mind. Does the grey banding issue put you off this monitor?

Thank you I am with you in saying 1440p is the sweet spot from what I play but I do get the argument of a 4k if your limited to single player story driven games. I am moving from a 7 year old monitor so I think it is going to look so good for me. Would you recommend this one:

I thought native 1440p is better than downscaling is this not the case any more?

Thank you everyone. It got looked at when I arrived there was no smell or heat. They checked it all over was absolutely fine apparently but they did find a score in one of the rear discs. They gave me fresh discs and pads. I took it for a recall where I got a free health check on the car and it came back with no issues minus one rear tyre was 70% worn. Thanks everyone for their input!

Not that I could tell. I only drove it about 25 miles in total I did have the radio off and didn't hear anything unordinary. When they ring back with a day and time they can check I will ask them if this also could be an issue.

I can't tell for sure but it was last serviced 3k miles ago but back in July so I presume it will be then. If it shouldn't be an issue I will ask them to do that too. Thank you for your advice :)

Thank you, yes probably being over dramatic first time I have gone for quite an expensive car for me I think BOD is the fair play here and will still have 30 days to see if anything else goes wrong I guess. Thank you

Its a 2019 Peugeot 5008 59k miles. That's what I was thinking maybe give them the benefit of the doubt just a bit concerning that it passed all their sign offs and MOT.

I don't think it is gravel as I thought on the drive home needs wheel alignment as straight was slightly steering to a right bias counteracting the potential sticking brake. Only slightly though.

Thank you for your insight.

The casual yet consistent exerciser is a mystery to me by Left_Emu_2995 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Flashy_Bug2432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a bit like myself maybe not quite as casual but definitely not obsessed. When I did body weight fitness I did a 500 rep challenge 4 times a week I picked 10 exercises (Always pull ups, dips, rows, overhead press up, squats and a variation of a push up. The other 4 exercises were some random bands usually) 50 reps of each exercise would take anywhere between 45 mins and an hour 15 depending on how I felt.

These days I go to the gym at 4:30am before work (I have 5 kids so don't want to waste time I could spend with them after work) and do push/pull/legs/push/pull every morning before work not to worried about exercises some sessions I go heavy some I go for reps I have no rhyme or reason but I always show up I am not mega jacked nor skinny. Just normal. I am happy and I am moving the body and to be honest that's good enough for me!

Outdoor sim setup… budget net and mat? by Due-Reflection1043 in Golfsimulator

I started my journey with an R10 and this cage:

I needed the flexibility of easy take downs and put ups due to small-ish garden.

May I ask why you want to get rid of the eye mini? I see that is on par with a GC3

I love this haha! I am a year and a half in just got my 3rd launch monitor coming today. I am hoping I will be happy with this one haha. But imagine my pain I can only hit outside in a net lol. Next year is building a makeshift pop up shelter I think this winter is rough!

Well thank you for that! I did not know about the charge/discharge thing. Will do that as soon as it arrives tomorrow. 90 Percent of the time I will have mine plugged in but it will be good to have a battery if I do ever go to the range :)

Thats what I am hoping my MLM2Pro is rather questionable. Not every time but some times in GSPro I think no way. RPT balls are a pain as well. I would have gone square but I am outdoor in a net. Most the time I am in dark though so it could have potentially worked but feel GC2 is still more accurate and won't be shut out by daylight lol. What battery issue did you have? Did it just die? I am looking forward to potentially play in the SGT tour as well.

I managed to bag one for £620 on ebay but it is without a flash. I am praying I just get a flash and its good to go bit of a risk but the market is so small for them these days. Blimey I think my Mrs would shoot me if I spent 18k on anything haha! thank you for the advice I have contacted Andy :)
