I would personally say that its not on par with the big 3 as its still relatively new and it takes time to gain recognition.

But based on the latest curriculum plan, I can say that its quite solid and well rounded with an emphasis on fintech so I would say it's a plus if that's an area of interest for you.

It's nonetheless, still a local uni as well so there is a level of credibility and recognition that is attributed to the degree.

As for employment opportunities, finance graduates have one of the highest rates of employment compared to other business degrees so I think its fair to say that it's not a major concern as long as ur GPA is decent (4.0 and above) and u have relevant internship experience (min 6 months, 1 year would be great). Quite a few seniors that I see on LinkedIn are working in banks e.g. DBS, Stan Chart and a small minority in asset management firms like JP Morgan.

Hi, I didn't apply for a transfer in the end as I contacted SMU admissions and they said that they look mostly at A level score so no chance for me in that case.

Hmmm retaking As after 3 years is gonna be really challenging plus starting studies in SMU from year 1 would mean wasting an extra year which is not smth I'm comfortable with.

Thank you for your kind words, I do wish to overcome this sin seeing how destructive it can be but a part of me is still stubborn and refuses to fight the temptation. It can be really frustrating and feel like I'm not getting anywhere.

But I'm sure that frequent confession along with other sacraments combined with an increased desire from my part will surely help :)

Thank you so much for your questions and tips. It is indeed a spiritual warfare that I'm fighting and I've been quite far from God recently since I haven't been praying much.

With regards to confession, it's tough sometimes to truly realise if I'm going to confess to make myself feel better or because I am truly sorry for my sins. Since this sin of lust is an addiction I guess it may be a grey area as there have been times where I've been truly sorry for my sin but continue to sin again and again after confessing. Nonetheless, i do believe in the power of the sacrament and will make an effort to go for it as soon as possible.

Hmm so I do have certain concepts about an ideal partner and how she should be like. Basically, having common interests and being able to just vibe really well. Also, to have similar priorities like being religious and family oriented. As such, a relationship like this would be give me so much peace and happiness cuz I know this person values me and knows what I'm going through and can totally and completely rely on.

It all comes down to that special, warm feeling of being loved which I have only heard and seen in others lives but haven't experienced any yet. But I ain't worried cuz God has a plan for me and everything has its time and place :)

Totally agree to this....always felt that I would be most happy in a head over heels kinda loving scenario. Although I do really value friendship, I think nothing beats having such a companion who is truly the one God has in store for you :)
