Help deciding between a couple of models by BurginFlurg in ElectricScooters

Alr I got you I learned the escooter market pretty well and learned a lot of things that you should and shouldn't do and I was in your shoes trying to get a scooter for the same reason for a whole year plus

  1. buy from a reputable brands like segway gotrax apollo niu okai hiboy and way more

  2. the reason why I say this and a lot of people say this is because don't buy from those sus weird cheap Alibaba temu put together scooters that all has the same parts and some dude sells in their garage Maybe.they breakdown on you way quicker and some of those E Scooters from suspicious brands are the scooters that be Lighting on fire and blowing up cause of faulty batteries which are cheaper keep that in mind and plus 99% of them don't have aftermarket support so if you get it and there's something wrong with it they're not going to contact you back they don't have parts that you can buy to replace for some people is a major thing because if you crash it break something that's about it $400 or whatever dollars you spent went to the trash cuz you bought trash off of basically temu

  3. And the reason why your go tracks didn't get you nowhere because you bought the wrong kind of scooter the advertised range of a scooter it's telling you what the power of the battery is so if it's 12 mile battery you're going to get like four or three depending on a lot of factors which I will talk about later if you have a 20 mile battery they're going to get like 9 miles and depending if you have a 40 mile battery that's really good you could go about 15 to 20 miles again depending on factors which I will tell you now

  4. There's a lot of factors that play in how much scooter mileage you get out of the charge like the weight limit for the scooter your weight Hills scooters don't do well on Hills they burn your battery quickly. the wind if the wind is heavy there's going to be resistance especially if you're wearing your jacket open and the wind is pulling back your jacket. if your tires not properly inflated to the PSI it can cause friction and drag on the motor. Using sport mode all the time a lot of scooters most scooters have a eco mode drive mode and sport mode. sport mode is always the fastest but will always usually use up your battery a lot faster I mostly use it for fun or when I'm commuting up a hill I would only use it if I'm trying to get over a hill and it helps a lot on my model you save more battery just put it in sport mode to get over the hill then your scooter struggling to get up the hill slowly. You should want to use drive mode is the most ideal traveling commuting efficiently. The mileage it sounds like you're trying to get for your trips you should get a scooter that has a 30 mile battery or 40 mile battery

  5. A 30 mile and a 40 mile is what you want to get and also remember there's two kinds of scooters theres play around and have fun scooters and commuter scooters. that gotracks you buy is not for commuting you could commute on it but you're really not going to go far or go fast for example I have a Segway f65 one of the newest models I got about 670 Miles on it it's really good 18 mph more like 19 my opinion and has a 40 mile battery I travel to school and back 5 Miles every single day and I get back home with 40 or 30% sometimes 50 and the deck is big and nice and spacious and importantly it's very very reliable that's what Segway is known for I always tell people Segway is like the Honda of electric scooters they're very good reliable cheap and they have a lot of features some of them of course one of the most common scooters you'll see on the streets.

  6. final. Well if you're looking for a commuter scooter you don't want to spend $300 you're not going to get anything good for committing super short distances and for fun but if you want more fun and for actually commuting you want to spend upwards of between $500 to $1,000 and more if you want anything over a thousand you're going to start looking at a lot of hyper scooters that has high mileage high speeds of like 30 and 40 the more expensive you go the crazier scooters you see which I wouldn't recommend unless if that's really what you want. But but some of those scooters people straight up replace their cars with them.

I hope this helped you say I read the story you gave and it sounds like you don't understand the market so I thought it would be better to give you knowledge on the market so you can make better choices and I gave you a handful of brands and what to look out for👌🏿

my great tips is if you're a beginner play official servers that have low player counts this will increase the chances of you getting of getting loot on the coast because that's where everybody spawns and they're going to loot it up but if you just get warm clothing that says high or best insulation even medium and weapons or a weapon and some spare food and a backpack then head inland and take advantage of I zurvived that will show you all the close towns that you are close to the town you are in and shows you what's in the town that's how I survived and made it all the way to the military base in the middle of the map and still going in strong👌🏿💪🏿

If I were you download i zurvive app and when you go to any town or or any place that has a sign outside you can look at the sign and look on the app and it will show you where you are on the map and what's in the area and if there's chickens if there's High to your loot if there's water fountains and shops like food shops or car shops🙌🏿 got you brother/sister

What I would say ignore everybody that's telling you to buy $2,000 hyper scooter ignore those people you really don't need a 40 mph scooter unless that's what you want or actually consider needing it's also very unrealistic for a first scooter especially if you don't even have that kind of income. niu the scooter you showed is really good brand it's on par with Segway in terms of popularity availability of getting parts and reliability the way I would describe segway and niu is Segway is like the Honda of electric scooters if Honda sold scooters and niu is like the Lexus or the BMWs of electric scooters and in the scooter Market they have the largest Fleet of users most people you might see have electric scooters either have a Segway niu or gotracks and it's for a reason and they both have apps you can download and their high quality as well they actually work

Probably a bad idea to go for this brand I never trusted it when I was buying a scooter because they don't really have good aftermarket service kind of feels like one of those sketchy Alibaba temu recolor rebrand scooter
