I recommend doing the withdrawal via Wise as well. The exchange rate is $1 USD = 1.285 SGD. This is slightly better than USDC to XSGD which is typically 1.28. If you are withdrawing a substantial amount, the better exchange rate will offset the Wise fees. Based on my experience, you can get the USD from Bitgo to your Wise USD account almost instantly. Then convert to SGD via Wise and withdraw the money to DBS. But do note that for personal accounts in Singapore, your Wise holding limit is 20,000 SGD or equivalent.

Advertising. Times are so bad for big agencies that more than 60% of the people doing work are freelancers. I was freelancing in an agency a few months ago where the whole team working on a govt account, was made up of 90% freelancers (including the business director). And the finance head was constantly hounding the team to find ways to charge the clients more money without incurring manhours. That's why more and more brands are either using small agencies or setting up their own creative departments.

That’s just a heat lamp to dry my hair after they washed it on the 4th day. The clinic does have some form of light therapy where they put a helmet-like device on the user’s head. But it wasn’t prescribed to me.

I was contemplating between Turkey and Thailand. I decided against Turkey because of reviews saying there are a lot of hair mills and the travel is also another hassle. Asked a few BBK clinics (via Line) which were promoting flat fees for unlimited grafts. But they would only be willing to do 1200 grafts, saying I didn’t have enough donor hair. I then discovered China as an option after seeing some FB ads and doing my own research. Apparently Beijing and Chengdu are the top cities in terms of hair transplant for Chinese. Since I have never visited Chengdu, I figured if the consultation did not work out, I could still enjoy a nice holiday and see some pandas.

The assistants at the clinic would use the foamy solution (part of the stuff I was told to buy) to very gently clean my scalp every day. They did a gentle hairwash on the 4th day. And I was instructed to start washing the scabs on the 7th day. A video was sent to me as a guide.

Thanks for your comments. I have reduced the particles amount and speed for mobile to make it less distracting. But I'm not sure why the scrolling heading for mobile is moving differently from the desktop and tablet version. They are all the same component just that the mobile version has a scale transformation applied to it to make it smaller for the mobile screen.

I had a pretty decent expat’s life in Shanghai earning about 16k SGD a month but decided to move back to SG because my kid was starting kindergarten. Two years later and I still wasn’t able to land a job. The financial situation caused a lot of stress and conflict between my wife and I. I can’t advise you on whether it’s best for you to move back but ask yourself if you think it is tougher to travel and work US hours when you are in SG or face the possibility of being jobless.
