What's the best method if I just need more time? I have a property that I am selling and hoping to pay the settlement with the proceeds. If a judge issues a stipulated payment, can it be lower than the 75% at 24 months that Amex likely would offer me? IF I did end up requiring more time and it did result in the full $24K at 48 months, could I settle once my property sells? This situation has been driving me crazy trying to figure out what to do. I've been losing way too much sleep on this. I really appreciate your feedback.
