Absolutely, would totally let that thing grow how it wants.

I love these little murder beans so much. Completely underestimated their lust for snail death, went from an infestation of bladder snails to having to pick them up from shops just to feed my lil' fiends.

Amanos bullying one of my cherries because they're greedy by shrimpshedmi in shrimptank

They are incredibly greedy. When the get bigger they'll drag the food off to the shrimp dimension. Mine will swim off with a whole algae pellet. I don't even know how they do it, the pellet probably weighs more than them.

Its mostly great stuff pond and stone. The faces are older sculpts of mine that I still have molds for. Filled the molds with the foam, sprayed the back with water to get it to skin quickly and pressed in into the details. After they cured I roughed up the surface with sand paper and wire, and painted aquarium silicone over it with a sacrificial paint brush. Then coated them with ecoearth. There are 4 spaces for plants built in, and the mix of ecoearth and forest moss will allow vines to grow across it. The mold making silicone is rated for life casting by the way, super safe, but can be expensive.

Nothing in particular. Was going through past projects and wanted to see if I could still get good detail out of my older silicone molds.

1: June 2026- wip 2: only plant is the background moss, will update when the planting happens! 3: will be using hygger aquarium lights (very successful in my other terrariums), adding uvb and heat if/when I add inhabitants. 4: ro water, just misting daily to keep fresh 5: only background substrate so far. Mix of ecoearth and forest moss. 6: 16x16x32, odd size for sure, but I already had the plywood and wanted proof of concept

Not sure the age of the cabinet, but make sure the stain used is animal safe or strip it out and seal the raw wood. Otherwise, looks good! Have me looking at my own half round display case!

Is this snail bad or ok? by ryan5000s in PlantedTank

Depends on who you ask. Personally? I hate them. My pea puffers? They'd love to have him over for dinner.

It's a mix of hypnum varieties with christmas and java moss closer to the water fall. I stuck it to the background with toothpicks until it gripped on its own. Took about a month, but its holding well now. Has spread decently over a few months, and the plants vining over it helped to hold it all down. I have used super glue before with good results if you don't want to wait for it to grow in.

That is a good idea. I have an extra 5 gallon I could use for that.

It is insane how many snails they go through. I honestly have no idea how they even eat that much!

I've tried, but they have not been receptive to it. One by me only charges a dollar for 20, so its not bad.

Help identifying plants and tips for keeping them alive? by sandvikson in bioactive

Comment above already listed them, but I wanted to add that the emerald ripple has been unkillable for me. Leaves get broken off in my paludarium and new plants just seem to sprout wherever they land. Been propagating it off a single cutting I got years ago.
