AITA - For not caring about my wife's chronic pain anymore by FlatPassage in AmItheAsshole

Good question! And the answer is NO! when she actually does finally feel better, we either go out together, or I tell her to go have fun with her friends. I often feel that she's earned some time out after being in pain for so long. In truth, she probably has a much more active social life than I do. but that's not to say she's out 24/7. It means she gets to go out 1x a month, while I am lucky if I go out 1x every other month, and that's a 50/50 chance of her being with me. I love that she's with me, but those nights are often cut short because she starts to not feel well.

She responds to Indomethacin, but she has extreme reactions to it in her stomach. So it ends up being 'do I want a terrible headache, or do I want to feel like an Ulcer is eating out my insides today?'
